Never disappointed by the fish and chips (or any meal!!) here. Service is always brilliant, you can tell so much love is put into this place by the amazing owners. Whenever I have a hankering for great fish and chips I come here - but the same goes for pie and Sunday roast too!! ;) Would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely hotel with scenery around to match. Cosy en suite rooms with tea and coffee available, excellent Sunday lunch and well stocked bar with a good choice of real ales.

Everything was excellent! Had a grameat night with the Milnthorpe steel band, a superb buffet and a well cooked breakfast. Very friendly staff - which starts at the top. We'll be back!

Sandwich lunch here yesterday. Absolutely first class. Had to wait a while but well worth the wait. Sandwiches packed with filling and served with chips and a very interesting salad. We ate in the garden enjoying the fantastic weather. Definitely recommended.

After a long walk we came across this hotel and what a treasure it turned out to be. We ate the homemade pie and it was absolutely delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely revisit

Didn’t stay in the hotel. But came in for food. They were fully booked. But they did make room for us when they knew it wouldn’t impact other booked customers.
The staff were so nice. And the food. I had steak and kidney pie. Was the best Iv ever tasted. No exaggeration.
10/10 for me. Great traditional friendly venue.

The views to my family room were awesome. I wished we could stay a bit longer. Our room is a bit dated but a great place to rest. The highlight is the restaurant below for great pies and the breakfast uses quality produce. Recommended! Will definitely come back! Seaside walking distance too!

Had lunch here. A lovely beetroot, cheese and walnut salad. My husband had the soup and a sandwich. Good value, well presented and tasty.

Lovely little place, popped in to see if we could have a bite to eat and was greeted by a lovely lady who explained everything we needed to know. Food was delicious and just the right portion size, will definitely be going back.

We had a lovely 4 day break at this charming pet friendly hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Great pub meals and a fabulous location. Would highly recommend it for a stay in the hotel or even just pop in for pint and a meal. Fab beer garden too.

Popped in here after a day cycling. The staff were very accommodating and courteous, the Marston Pedigree went down a treat. I had the goats cheese and beetroot salad to start with which was fantastic, followed by the burger, I say burger but there was two! One of the best tasting burgers I have had for a while. Can't comment on the desserts as I was too full, but I wouldn't hesitate in visiting again.

We stayed in Silverdale last December (2022) for one week and ate most nights in the Silverdale Hotel. The food was sooo good it was a deciding factor to return to Silverdale Sept 2023. The food and service remain the same. Delicious food and excellent service. If you get the chance to try Shellys Sticky Toffee Pudding you will not be disappointed as it is much better than Cartmels. It took me a while to come down from the devine high 😁 On the Christmas menu you may be lucky enough to eat Shellys Cranberry and Orange Sponge..... another joy devour 😊 Between my husband and I we have eaten about 16 meals here and all have been exceptional. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our dog enjoyed herself too.

A lovely pub / hotel serving lovely home cooked food and a great selection of beers. We dined there while staying at a local campsite which is a short walk away and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We'll certainly be back :)
Dog friendly throughout most of the bar and tap room.

We stopped here with family for a meal while staying at pine lakes. Beautiful scenery and location. The garden and outdoor seating area is bliss on a warm summer day. We had a meal which was top notch 👌 ( I would recommend the fish and chips ) well worth a visit if in the area. Will 100% be returning in the future

The hotel, staff and location are wonderful and perfectly welcoming.
The breakfast cooked by one of the owners had pride written all over it. Perfect eggs and the best sausage I have had in years.
Comfortable bed and warm room with plenty of water pressure and hot water.
Unfortunately the food in the evening and lunch was ok but no way near the standard of breakfast and the rest of the hotel. I can't Mark them down for that . But maybe the owners should look at the kitchen more closely.
I am not with out knowledge of the industry as I have been a chef and Head Chef for almost 40 years. And have my own bar and restaurant.
Thanks for a wonderful couple of days we really enjoyed wonderful Silverdale.

This place is just wonderful.
Beautifully preserved and spotlessly clean. How they manage that with all the lovely brass and pictures and Toby jugs I dont know!?! I take my hat off to the cleaning staff.
The food is just awesome. We came for lunch and all had something different and all 3 of us were very happy with our choices.
My Dad had the homemade cheese, onion and potato pie and in his own words...it was the best he's ever had. Which from my dad is very high praise indeed👏
Dog friendly and plenty of room to accommodate them without intruding on other customers.
Really helpful and happy staff. Service was impeccable.
I managed to leave my scarf and no questions or quibbling when i called up they immediately offered to post it back to me in Manchester at their own cost.
I'd recommend booking as this place is a gem and not to be missed.
