This was a fantastic pub to go drinking at, with a stylish counter particularly for Halloween! The design is peaceful, channeling Kendal's beauty and the staff were friendly. I had a cocktail pitcher, sitting comfortably with my friend at a clean round table!

Usual Wetherspoons food, served quickly. Good service at the bar and table service. Nice big place. Went in a couple of times. First time was very busy and noisy, second time was much calmer. Ate both times, used the app and also went to the bar, staff were quick and efficient.

Food was really nice and turned up quickly. The staff was very busy but efficient. Would definitely return. Which we did 5 nights on the trot. Certainly tasted the range of the menu between all of us. The shift manager was especially helpful. Cheers Laura

Great atmosphere and brilliant attention to detail and service.

Not been here for a long time, but ordered two breakfasts - the food was hot and service was prompt - much better than I can remember from my last visit - some years ago.

Been in a few times over the last few days whilst staying in kendal good food prompt service and a decent pint no issues and a very clean place

Typical Spoons occupying a former Industrial building. Great selection of beers and food. Really friendly staff.
It was refreshing to pay a decent price for a pint (a couple of quid) as we have been "fleeced" by every pub in that we have visited in the Lakes charging London prices of £5 plus.

Nice pub with good food, drinks and atmosphere. The staff here today were efficient and helpful. A good place to visit.

Enjoyed an early dinner with my family on Sunday. It wasn't busy. Food was great (more tasty than other Wetherspoon pubs we visited recently!

Paid parking is available directly behind the pub, though access is through a ginnel on a one-way street around the corner.

Such a nice pub, the food is the normal excellent Wetherspoons that you expect. Plus this pub is totally split into different areas for eating and drinking. So if you go and look in don't be put off by seeing people drinking near the bar. There is a different eating area which is really family friendly.

Now as for the staff, absolutely brilliant. I actually put the wrong table number on our order but the staff still managed to find us and bring our order.

So if you are looking for a family friendly pub or somewhere for a drink this is the place.

It is not possible to fault the food on offer, the service, or the atmosphere. It is a great place for a group of people of all ages.

A very well appointed Spoons. Clean and friendly. Great value. Located in the heart of town. Good real ale options.

Nice, clean and easy to find. Staff were attentive and we ordered through the app with no issues. Lots of tables. Toilets clean. Nothing more we needed. Would definitely return if I found myself up that way again.

Usual wetherspoons, wide range of drinks at very cheap prices, typical pub menu and exceptionally good fish and chips all at a very reasonable cost. The hotel is always clean and tidy and the service very quick, all in all well worth a visit for food or drink or like me both. A very good health to one and all.
