My family recently went on a 4-day tour from London to Normandy. From the beginning, Jo was so helpful with helping us plan this tour. Our tour guide, Andy, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. He made our trip so special and enjoyable! Thank you In the Footsteps for such an incredible tour!

A superb WW1 Battlefield Tour for a party of 28 retired Naval Officers and wives mainly from Liverpool. Administration at all stages was sound and consistent. Transport arrangements worked well with an excellent driver (Mike) and a very spacious and comfortable coach.
Ferry embarkation each way was hassle free,DFDS ferries excellent.
Our Tour Guide (Tim ) was always helpful, very knowledgeable in every respect and the itinerary he planned met the aim of following the Royal Naval Division on the Somme and at Passchendale.
Accommodation at Ypres at the Ariane is to be highly recommended.

This team were superb, they brought the history, location and battle to life. We followed specific people from our College, who were killed in WW1. Ian and his team did detailed briefings, on what happened and we followed their time in and around Ypres. Very moving, and well worth the visit. The Menin Gates ceremony was very humbling, and again Ian and his team gave us an excellent insight into its history. I would highly recommend In The Footsteps Battlefield Tours to you.

i recently took an in your footsteps tour of Ypres and the Somme.at the end of each day i thought that what followed could not be better but it was.from the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate to Spanbroekmolen crater to Notre Dame De lorette.then Bucquoy .the lovely Beatus hotel at Cambrai.and Moreuil wood .the mounting excitement of the approach march of the Canadian Cavalry to the thunder of the charge. wonderful stuff .i highly recommend this company .outstanding thank you Ian

We took the Normandy 4 day guided tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable.

I undertook a medieval tour including Harfluer, Crecy and Agincourt with this group. Thoroughly enjoyed, can recommend.
