Screwfix Ross-on-Wye

And always a pleasure to visit a Screwfix store

Only problem is that the door in the Ross on Wye Branch opens the wrong way !

A door out of a shop needs to open outwards, so that when you are carrying your goods you can push the door with your body !

Best use the App to order and collect goods, as you approach the store you can click the app button which says, here to collect, you then just stand there until your name is called, normally within 60 seconds !

However website search key words and indexing is atrocious, there must be thousands of products people will never find, the only way around this is to search for Screwfix Products via a google search, rather than from within the Screwfix Portal, had I been reviewing Screwfix on their web shop they would have received 2 out of stars

So who ever is in charge of ‘product indexing’ on the Screwfix web shop needs to hand over the job to somebody who actually cares 🥴

Have used Screwfix for years and the Ross unit has provided good service for a lot of that time. The current C-19 issue hasn't been a problem and ordered items are quickly ready for collection. I've found them to be friendly staff and that's one of the reasons I keep going back. Prices are good too.

Very useful diy store.

staff at Ross screw fix are excellent .. They have a can do attitude. Self employed tradesman and small businesses could learn a lot from them and how they put customers first .

Great service from staff (though a new face each visit?), generally value for money products listed with helpful reviews and conveniently, usually in stock. Having a sales email every day is a bit tedious

Ordered item this am and had v quick response to advise collection available.i picked this afternoon and Rob came from behind the counter to help me with the door due to the weight involved or perhaps I looked too frail!!!Great service again

Very helpful staff as i dont always know what the right tool for the job is. They do!. Prices are very good and its so convenient to get what you need with good opening hours.

Been there so many times it makes me sick. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and have real time stock updates using the app with 1 minute collection.

Very quick service open 7 days a week, very rarely out of stock and fairly competitive prices, what more do I need to say.
