After visiting this establishment several times in the past in thought I would finally do a review. The food is really nice and tasty with a good selection on the menu. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. It’s certainly worth a visit if you’re in the Ross on Wye area. They also sell confectionery too. Highly recommended

We stumbled upon this place on our way from the 3 counties show. Fabulous, a proper old school fish and chip shop. prices amazing , service so good. They knew all the customers not surprisingly considering how long they have been doing it for. We absolutely loved the experience and would definitely go back if passing and if not we would definitely take a detour.

Everything I like about a proper chippy. Fresh fish and not too expensive. Definitely worth a small detour out from the town centre.

Outstanding! far and away the best fish and chips in Ross, if not Herefordshire! Chips are crispy and fluffy, batter on the fish perfect and meat tender but not dry. The place feels like stepping back in time. Also very unique in that they also sell fire wood, 2nd hand books along with a selection of sweets. Not just any ordinary fish and ship shop! Service is very friendly.

Absolutely lovely couple. We were on the area and googled for local fish and chip shops.we picked Audrey's because of its star rating.
Fish was cooked to order and whe had a lovely conversation whilst it took to cook.
The food was absolutely lovely and the curry sauce had a nice little kick to it.
Fully recommend a visit.

Brilliant fish and chips - a must visit! We've been a couple of times now after moving to the area. The shop itself is fairly small and has a local feel and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The fundraising posters speak of owners who care about their community! It feels clean and well looked after and there is not a lot of food held under lamps which is always encouraging. There's been a bit of a wait each time as they are popular and it's just the 2 of them but I'd expect to wait on a Friday/Saturday evening anywhere. We have ordered the plaice, battered sausages and chips. Honestly some of the best we've had. Large portions, not overly greasy just good quality, hearty food cooked perfectly. Genuinely can't fault it. Let them know your order so they can get it in the fryer and minimise the wait.

Thank you for providing such a good service to the local community! We will be back...!

We've been going there for 30 years. I could use words like brilliant, wonderful, fantastic, etc but really their fish and chips are just perfect! Great service, food really hot and crisp. Absolutely Perfect. If you do visit buy one of their 50th Anniversary bags and support a local hospice. 👍👍👍👍👍

Dropped in on the way back from visiting the Forest of Dean area. Lovely cod and chips. Seems very popular with the locals as was a long queue, which is a good sign!

A very popular place hence queueing for about an hour to be served. No one minded though and the food was all freshly cooked and served by the husband and wife team who chatted to all the customers.
