Giltar Hotel

I felt like a king in this hotel! What a beautiful hotel. This is how I imagine a classy little house in the UK. A small room but very clean and cosy. The food was delicious and it offered me the best breakfast selection ever when travelling in the UK.

We've had Sunday lunch here on a couple of occasions, and it's always delicious! The staff are really friendly and the service whilst having lunch is fantastic!

We can't wait to visit again!

I bought a voucher for my parents to have afternoon tea, whilst on holiday, as a father days gift...

They've just been today and they said that it was amazing the best afternoon tea they've ever had and that everything was perfect...

They sent me photos and I have to say it does look amazing and for the cost, I am very impressed...

Thank you Giltar Hotel, as my parents had a lovely afternoon and this will get me some brownie points 😂

But seriously we'll done, as my parents do have high standards, so you've done well.

Location is fab with panoramic views of the beach. Service at the hotel is excellent, the staff really make you feel welcome. We didn't stay at the hotel but we ate in the restaurant, Sunday lunch was excellent, we were a group of 14 and everyone said the same. Well done team!

Booked in for an events evening, lovely hotel with lovely views over the bay from the front facing bedrooms. Great atmosphere in the room downstairs after an enjoyable meal. Well worth looking out for thier events evenings, easy walk into town and beaches

5 stars all round for this hotel. No complaints. Out of the 4 hotels we stayed in whilst we visited Pembrokeshire this was our favourite.

Absolutely first class - room spotlessly clean, staff friendly, especially waiting staff (which is always a plus if you're a solo traveller) and right on the beach front, just 2 minutes walk to town centre and bus/train station. Food also first class!! A big thanks to everyone for making my stay such an enjoyable one.

We walked into this restaurant at 7pm on the last day of our holiday. Two adults and two hungry kids after a long day of activities.

The restaurant is in a beautiful front room with bay windows onto the promenade. Carpet and soft furnishings create a calm and relaxing environment with low level music in background.

The hotel staff were exceptionally hospitably. Experienced professional waiters, who are skilled at building rapport with the customers, and chatting in a friendly courteous manner to guests. My 8 year old was chuffed to taken so seriously and be referred to as "Sir" for the first time in his life!

Ideal basic menu for kids. Good food and good value.
Delicious steak and fresh sea bass for the adults.

I loved this meal. I give the Giltar 5 stars.

Lovely hotel. Room was spacious and spotless, bathroom too. Breakfast superb, evening roast dinner cooked to perfection and plenty of it! All staff friendly, efficient and nothing too much trouble. Special mention and thanks to Jemima and James who were brilliant

We have just returned from a break at this really lovely hotel. St Catherine's View (room 108) was perfect in every way. This room can be a double or made into a twin, it also has a roll top bath and a separate walk in shower cubicle. It is located opposite the lift and on the first floor. The room had wonderful sea views, was beautifully decorated and very comfortable indeed. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful, and dinner was delicious, served by very pleasant and professional staff. There is a small car park at the rear of the hotel which is a test to your driving skills as it's pretty compact. This car park has access to the rear entrance of the hotel which has no steps, and allows easy access for those with disability. We had a really great break here and will definitely be back.

Another absolutely fantastic stay in this wonderful hotel, lovely room, fabulous food and the staff offer excellent service, can’t wait for the next visit.

Having booked we arrived to find we'd booked the wrong date the staff couldn't have been more helpful transferring the booking to a sea view. Breakfast was excellent too with plenty of choice.
Would definitely recommend!

Lovely coffee in the Lounge meeting relatives who I have not see for many years.

Sea view room stunning view but we were in a partition room and felt our noisy neighbours were in the same room as us on the 1st night ,2nd night new neighbours no problem. Great place to stay close to the beautiful beaches . All staff are very lovely even bought a small painting from simon the gardener . Will definitely be back 👍

Fantastic stay at the Giltar Hotel last night. Located on the seafront, comfy room with good shower, WiFi fab and we really enjoyed our breakfast this morning. All staff very friendly and helpful, and hope to return

I had the very great pleasure to stay at 'The Giltar' in Tenby, for 4 nights. The Food was excellent, the room was not 'posh' but it was lovely, clean, had all I needed and was kept that way everyday with new towels, good housekeeping etc.
The staff were so accommodating and friendly, I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone who asked me. It was a cracking view to the front, but as I had a single room and it was a spur of the moment trip, my room was at the back..
I didn't mind one bit, there was so much to see and do in Tenby, and the exercise every day, walking into the town centre, was what I needed to work off not only the fabulous cooked Breakfast, but also the Evening Meals.. Cracking selection, cooked to perfection.
My heartiest thanks to everyone there, who made my stay memorable and happy.
