A lovely store with lovely staff!

The store stocks a wide range of vegetables, meats, frozen foods, and more, usually both store-brand and gourmet brands. The new store layout highlighting the bakery is very inviting.

Though some things can be a little pricey, I usually find a lot of money-saving deals to make up for this. I particularly enjoy the "freezer filler" selection - £5 for 5 items that are constantly changing, but have in the past consisted of Bird's Eye Chicken Nuggets and Vegetables, Cadbury Ice Cream, and more! Such a bargain for exceptional quality!

Ok it's just a Co op but we were staying in the area for the weekend and planned a day out. We had a cooler full of food and drinks and needed ice. Third shop we'd stopped at and having queued for 10mins to get in due to Covid situation no ice was in the freezers. Asked a staff member, a young lad, if there was anymore. He kindly went out to the storage area to check and came back with a couple of bags.
Yes, it would be their job to do that but so often it seems easier just to say no. Thanks to that young man. Wish I'd got his name.

Entrance and parking can be difficult, quite a big store , lots on offer , staff are so friendly and knowledgeable 👍
