Ye Olde Griffin

Rooms are nice. Clean with Comfy beds. Slight noise from the bar before closing stops an otherwise 5* review. Staff. Especially. Sandy were excellent really helpful and friendly. Location is spot on and free car parking really is a bonus. Thanks for a great stay. Breakfast was spot on with Rob too 👍

Best part about this pub is the quiz on the Monday, we may not win but we do enjoy ourselves as it’s a great laugh. All thanks to Mikala. The best host, from We who should not be named.

Great place. Very central in town. Good food. Great quiz nights with Mickila, She is a great Quiz master. Very friendly and good fun. X

Do not let the outside of this place put you off. Inside is very clean and has up to date furnishing.
Menu choices were good and also catered for gluten free.

The bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable.
Staff very attentive and helpful.
Breakfast was OK, but room for improvement.

Stayed here for work last week. Food was traditional pub food with a good selection of ales in the bar. Room was a good size and the bed was comply. Great location in town center.

Just had a fab stay at the Griffin Hotel. Breakfast very good value. Talked to one of the service staff this morning cleaning the rooms. Sorry I didn’t get her name but she had dark brown hair. Lovely to talk to one of the unsung heroes as without the cleaning staff who take pride in their job there would be no hotel. Very nice clean rooms and good value also. Stayed here on a number of occasions and highly recommend xx

Great little pub, good bar staff attentive geezer on the floor(manager maybe?) Football played but have areas with out and have areas with screen on but no sound so proper variety! The food ispub grub but on a really good level.
Just moved to the area and will be regulars

Lovely housekeeping staff ,great breakfast very pleasant place to stay .came down for a fishing weekend took all the rooms in the hotel 23 of us all the staff very friendly.

Had a lovely stay at the Griffin, great food and a wide selection of drinks. The thing that really sets the Griffin apart is their staff, who were incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure everyone’s having a great time. Lovely, warm local meeting spot, can’t wait for my next visit

Just a one night stay at Ye Olde Griffin and everything went very well. Very friendly staff providing attentive and good service. Our room was a very good size and very clean.
Overall excellent and very good V for M. Would certainly stay there again if in March.

A party of 32 of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Ye Olde Griffin last Saturday.
The food was lovely and the service polite and efficient. Some of our party booked rooms overnight too.
It is our 3rd year there and will return for sure.

The Griffen Hotel is a lovely warm and welcoming hotel in the town of March. The staff are very friendly and the food and drink are both delicious. I cannot recommend enough.
