Highly recommend this place. The roast is cooked perfectly, looking forward to trying more on the menu. The broad selection of cakes are freshly baked and moist. I couldn't decide which one to try so I got a slice of each. The neighbours approved! That's just the food. The venue is a homely time warp with vintage classic music to set the mood combined with the decor details providing a feast for the eyes and ears. Such a hidden gem!

Staff were very friendly, food was excellent... Would highly recommend it... The afternoon teas are amazing...

I contacted Cooks to arrange an afternoon tea delivery for my friends birthday. They made it so easy, the choice was great and the service brilliant. I live in Tenerife so everything was completed online, but the end result was great, my friend loved her birthday surprise. I can highly recommend Cooks. Thank you for making my friends birthday so special xx

We really enjoyed our fresh and tasty afternoon teas, complete with a great pot of tea, a large cake selection and amazing scones. There’s a lovely, friendly atmosphere and the sweet shop is lovely too. With an all day breakfast on offer I’ll be visiting again!

I found that Cook Family Vintage Tea Room is a pleasant homely place to relax in with a coffee and a meal and it takes me back in time with their vintage ornaments, clocks and pictures on the walls of bygone times. The staff in smart uniforms are very friendly and polite. The tableware is nicely presented including embroidery of floral designs on the table cloths. I enjoyed their delicious Sunday pork roast with baked potatoes, vegetables and apple sauce plus their succulent plum crumble and custard homemade by their chefs.

Beautiful Sunday meal , very friendly staff . Food was excellent. I really wish I lived local I would visit here regularly. Loved the uniqueness atmosphere was great , blast back in time . Keep up the good work .

Lovely little family run business ,home cooked food traditional fair and home delivery service ,fabulous cakes to choose from . Can get busy due to larger groups .
