- You get what you expect from a big M&S.

- There is also a very nice M&S cafe area at the back - the coffee here is great! (We had a latte and a decaf latte. The decaf one was slightly weak so we had to order an extra espresso shot which made it perfect. The normal latte was just awesome!)

- There are quite a lot of parking spaces + a payable underground parking.

Great store, centrally located for the town centre, with a small car park. Car parking to pay for but you claim it back against your total M&S bill.
The store has a good sized food hall, a small ladies & men’s clothes section. Staff are very active keeping the shelves well stocked.

Nice store, with a good variety of products.
Also was very clean and the Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Always good quality food and clothes

My husband and I went for a coffee and cake here today 09/10 . I would like to show my appreciation for the staff in the coffee shop. It was really busy and customers just kept coming. The lady on the till making the drinks was amazing , friendly and didn’t appear flustered at all she just got on with it . The young girl was also amazing she also just got on with sorting all the pots out and clearing tables . Well done you two xx

Always best quality and helpful service

Lovely clean environment with well stocked shelves and helpful staff. Good clothes selection also. Cafe and toilets if required. Wheelchair and buggy access and the added bonus of reduced parking if ur shopping reaches desired amount.

shop today food shopping was as always, excellent. Loads of choice & the meal deal was fantastic. No time for clothes shopping but what I saw looked. Nice trousers eyed up for my next trip there!

Everything you expect from MnS but on a small scale
Lovely Christmas visit : turkey, brie and cranberry toastie highly recommended and the mince pies...well. Pity they are only available in the cafe, so I had to force myself to buy others. Nice staff AND you get your parking ticket refunded after in store purchase.

Good cafe with nice selection of reasonably priced food and snacks. Bacon buttie is lovely and so are toasties. Big food department and a collection service if you have ordered online. Great ladies department with shoes and lingerie but small mens area and teeny home and children's departments. Still you can order online and collect from the full collections. I will be a repeat customer.

Sorry it's not a bigger store. I have to order long length trousers online as they don't stock them here but at least I can pick them up here.

I've been visiting Mark's and Spencer after work 1 day a week since lockdown, and I have to say the store is very well organised the staff are incredibly friendly, I think the lady at the entrance of the store was called Mandy, she is super friendly and so welcoming while also making sure customers stick to the guidelines in place. Jackie served me at the till and once again her customer service was fantastic. A massive well done to all the staff Amanda, Christine, Karen. Its lovely to shop in a store where you feel safe but still receive excellent service.

What a good store with good parking and ample choice of good and non food but could do with a bigger choice of Gents clothing. It's great for the ladies. Nice little cafe Thank you M & S. Keep up the good work.

Visiting the lakes Windermere, we had a pop into Kendal with it being my sons 4th birthday 🥳 we realised on a Sunday nothing much was open.. and not only that we had to hunt for a birthday cake as hubby forgot the cake 🙈… finding this marks and Spencer’s was the best thing ever! My son was looking at the cakes and he chose rainbow cake 🌈 £13.00 .. a guy was at the side of us spoken a little to him then he gave my son a FREE caterpillar cake also his name is ( Steve the boss ) honestly it made my day and little lads kindness we are so very grateful lovely staff when we got to the till when we visit again I’ll definitely shop back here ❤

Marks And Spencer Kendal has a lovely friendly atmosphere. The food hall is well staffed and are more than happy to help at any time. The staff on the tills effiencent and friendly. The clothing area is deceptively large. Worth a walk up from the high street..

Hi our local prostate group has been nominated as the store charity for this year we have had collecting boxes in the check outs and today I collected one from the Cafe team containing £121.36 . Thanks to the M&S staff for giving us space to raise awareness & funds Mostly thanks to the generosity of Kendal shoppers since start of November we have raised over £1,600 thanks Marks & Sparks and the Cafe Team

Recently went into M & S in Kendal to return a purchase the staff were very helpful. The car park is a little frustration as it machine wants to know your registration plate which isnt a problem but a pain if you have parked at the far end of the car park, and their is a que at the machine.

Brilliant clean and tidy

A lovely lady called Amanda called up to let us know that we had the wrong address for a hamper we had sent, I gave her the correct address and she kindly had offered to drop this off for me!! Thank you so much Amanda, you have gone above beyond!

Brilliant place , excellent food and the cafe is amazing the staff always go extra mile and you always feel welcome. They have booster seat for children as well as children's menu.
