Lovely food, great service. Would definitely recommend. Very suitable for large parties, we had a table of 17 , all food came out at the same time and was very good value for money.

I went there with an ambulance colleague - i ordered a steak dinner and my colleague bought the lasagna - honestly that was absolutely scrumptious. Quality food honestly. The 2 waitresses were lovely. I like how one of them was happy to ask if everything’s okay - her engagement was really nice. Thank you for the time I’ll be coming back

Went for sunday carvery, 3 choices of meat. We chose beef which melted in your mouth. Lots of vegetables to choose from and they were not hard which we love, there was roast potatoes, mash potatoes Yorkshire pudding and stuffing.
Staff are all helpful and
Julie is a lovely, chatty, bubbly person. She makes buying a pint a pleasure.

We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon for my Son's birthday it was our first visit here which was easly booked on-line and it was agreed by all that we thoroughly enjoyed it we had the most delicious carvery there was so much to choose and everything was cooked perfectly. The lady who served us was really friendly as so sweet to our Grandaughter. We have decided it will be a return visit for us for sure if I could give it 10+ stars I would. Highly recommended!!!!

Been here a couple of times recently and the food is so good! Delicious home-cooked hearty meals at a really good price in a really lovely country pub. Staff and service is friendly and quick.
Particularly recommend the Sunday roast dinner, steak pie and steak 😍 the homemade chips are to die for too! There is a car park on-site with plenty of parking & a separate bar area if you just wanted to pop in for a drink. Definitely recommend.

Came here for a carvery today and very pleased we did. We had a fantastic meal. Jo, did us proud with a selection of 3 lovely meats, with a wide variety of fresh vegetables. Mustn't forget the huge Yorkshire pudding. We left a tiny bit of food, this was only to allow us just enough room for her delicious Sticky toffee pudding. The rest of the staff who looked after us, were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. Amy, Ellie and Frankie were also in top form, in meeting all of our needs. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again real soon. Thanks a lot folks.

As a young family the Windmill was a place we visited many times but as the kids got older the visits got less and I hadn't been for over 10 years. I attended a funeral yesterday and the wake was held here. Nothing has changed since my last visit it's still a traditional British pub/eatery. The wake was held in the upstairs restaurant which all be it the fire was on was a little cold. Very welcoming friendly lady behind the bar greated us with a smile. The hot and cold buffet was lovely and fresh and a good choice of food was on offer. If your looking for a journey back in time then this is definitely a place to visit. The Mill has excellent outside seating with lovely views over the surrounding countryside and a lovely choice of food from the menu and specials board. This place used to get very busy and I'm sure it still does so perhaps best to reserve a table at busy times.

Super find and an amazing stout on tap this afternoon that truly smelt of bananas. Very friendly staff… a shame the kitchen was closed due to a gas problem. But the crisps kept hunger at bay. Thank you

In June, we were visiting my sister and because there are no decent pubs in Pelsal, I booked a table at the Windmill, as I have never experienced a bad meal or poor service. Well worth the 15 minute drive. On draft they had a nice tasty porter and the house white was fine, as were the meals, which arrived hot. Great service great food. There was a reasonable selection of meals, including vegetarian. A great local pub, wish we had one like this in Catherine-De-Barnes, where I live. Will certainly visit again.

Customer sevice 100%. Food 100% - absolutely faultless. We only live in Lichfield but it was so nice to escape for a couple of hours. We absolutely love it here. The service is great and the prices are great. So nice not to pay £13 for 2 drinks @ lichfield prices. Sunday roast is fantastic and so much better quality than Lichfield "gastro pubs". Thank you so much you have everything sorted!
