The Oxwich Bay Hotel

Great location and staff! Really friendly and welcoming, also food was good and delivered quickly. The smoked haddock was gorgeous and generous portions. View from beer garden is beautiful and the local IPA is very nice too!

Stopped for a drink after a walk along the beach. Lovely views and a great garden area. Protected by the wind. Staff were friendly. Only comment, as a beer lover they could have put on a local ale.

We had a great two day stay in one of the pods. It was comfortable, clean and warm. The staff are first rate, food great and views stunning. Altogether a perfect place for a break. Thanks very much

We stayed here for a lovely getaway weekend break this October. The location is almost directly on the beach, with spectacular views across the bay, in a tiny community at the end of quiet country roads. The rooms and interior have been refurbished to a very high standard. It's comfortable and quiet, with a generally good and very friendly service. I hesitated to give 5 stars, as I would have give the food menu and quality only 4 stars. They were good, but not excellent. This is a great secluded getaway, or a fabulous wedding venue, and we very much enjoyed our stay!

Delightful place especially after a long walk. Great staff, great location, great music, very good toilets. The gents loos have baby changing facilities as well.

1st stay here, we stayed in room pobbles the rooms need a little modernising but as we spent just our sleeping time there it's a very minor complaint really which was majorly outweighed by the view.

The views from this hotel are breathtaking if it was any closer to the beach it would be built on the sand it's amazing, the garden is spacious and tidy and lovely seeing the allow dogs here.

The hotel itself is lovely and amazing everywhere you look there's fantastic details and qwerky things we especially loved the wood burners and the colourful wingback chairs.

The food here I thought was reasonably priced and a decent size portion and tasted amazing I had the beef short rib with parsnip mash and was blown away.

We spent our day walking the dunes that are just a 2 minute walk away and had a fantastic time, I'd Recomend this place for people looking to relax and for people looking to explore and adventure.

The staff were very helpful and polite and all looked very happy.

Me and my wife are already planning on booking again, if we can find a time they aren't booked up.

After a wonderful two night stay for my daughters 4th birthday I have to say this hotel and its staff went above and beyond to make our experience one to remember. From the moment we walked in, we was blown away. What a beautiful place. The interior is absolutely beautiful and has got such a cosy feel to it. We were taken to our room, and to my daughters delight, the hotel had left ballons and a birthday card for her. Thank you, guys. We stayed in room 4 and what a treat it was to wake up to a perfect view of oxwich bay. The room was clean and spacious and absolutely perfect for our stay. Our evening meal was lovely and the restaurant has such a relaxed feel you can't help but bit relax. The staff are very attentive and a special thank you to the male evening staff, he really did go above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one so a big thank you to all of you and we can't wait for our next stay at this very special place.

My wife and I (and dog)spent the night in one of the static caravans. Very comfortable and clean. Just a short walk to the beach. We had an evening meal and wine which was superb. Breakfast the following morning was nice.
Above all the staff were polite and friendly. A very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

We spent an hour in their bar for refreshments after a beach walk. Great ambience and service. A pleasant end to our wanderings.

Fabulous hotel in the most perfect location after a long beach walk. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was fabulous. Would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately I couldn't stay and only ordered a hot chocolate, but the view of Oxwich Bay is stunning, and the staff are so nice and the drinks are delicious.

Called by for a great coffee on the patio to take in the view. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended 👍

Great place to sit and have a drink or some food overlooking the sea. Parasols and picnic benches. Magic location. Excellent service and staff. Dog friendly. Car parking available.

It's a bit disappointing that people are disgruntled about the prices - which are not in my view that high given that there are very few places where you get such an unbelievable view in a remote place. It's a hotel, not a pub and it does most of its trading at limited times of the year. So whilst it would be nice to have cheaper drinks I'd rather that a place stays open to be enjoyed on holidays than goes under particularly after such a difficult few years. I have posted the prices of the menu so people can avoid the 'shock' of paying for an amazing location. The prices are no different to nice places in many cities now.

Called in for an evening meal, service was impeccable, very friendly staff, dog friendly, good beer and great food at a reasonable price.

Sat outside in the pretty gardens 2 days running. Love it here, been many times over the years, always feels special. Very quiet one day as the weather was dull. Completely different the next day when the sun was shining. Nice cool beers. Check the website before you go as it very occasionally closes totally for private functions.

Excellent in so many ways. Only criticism is they need more sensible evening meals.

I stayed in caravan with my parents for my mums birthday. Lovely and spacious has all the basic amenities you need. We went to the hotel for dinner, the food was good and the staff could not have been more attentive and nice!

No cash card only which is annoying but thay gave us our drinks and we will go back to pay please go back to cash

We got married at this beautiful venue on the 09/03/23. Communication in the build up to the day was plentiful and any questions we had (there we many! ) were dealt with quickly 😊 As for the day itself itself - we were blown away by both the venue and the amazing staff, who were on hand throughout the day & ensured the day went smoothly. Special mention to Charlotte who went above and beyond on the day and put a very nervous bride at ease! We would recommend this beautiful venue to any couples looking for their perfect beach wedding. Even though it rained all day we had the most stunning photos as the setting & views are simply gorgeous. We can't thank the wedding team at Oxwich Bay enough for helping us create the most wonderful memories on our special day. We will treasure them forever 💖 Best wishes, Mr & Mrs White xx
