Stunning view inside and out. Simply an amazing venue.
Beers poured well and with a Welsh smile.
Toilets has been upgraded massively with great loos and fancy Dyson taps.
Meals were great.
All starters were very nice.
Fish dish was too wet.

The restaurant is in a beautiful location, with a view over the bay. The food and the service were absolutely wonderful. However, the prices, on the more expensive side. Fish and chips £16.95.

A great place to watch the sunset although if outside heaters would have been an advantage

We stopped in for a hearty dinner after a full day of exploring and we were not disappointed. The cod and chips with peas and a slice of lemon was both huge and heavenly. Couple the great food with amazing views and it was a brilliant evening out, well worth the drive!!!

Great place to eat and drink with a brilliant view of the bay. Good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Fairly priced, friendly staff and a dog friendly venue.

Let's face it, the outdoor tables look over one of the most spectacular views in Wales, from Worms Head all the way up the golden expanse of Rhossili Beach. The food only needs to be edible for this to be a truly 5-star experience.

Best view in the UK. Food is good. The chowder we had was really good. Local beers. On the pricier side for a pub.

We went for the sunset and realised on arrival that we were too late for food, (last orders was 20:30) but there were cakes, coffee, beer and wine which was plenty for us.

Yep the location is great, really great, but what makes this a great place for a drink is that the staff are really friendly, even when busy.

Was chatting to a lady who had been staying at the Worms Head Hotel, which the Helvetia Bar is a part of, and she couldn't have been more complementary either!

Great views overlooking the bay. For views it was one of the best beer gardens I've been in. Food was good and beer reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend a visit.

There is no need to specifically advertise this place. Location, beach view and a good snack before or after your day adventures. Sit back and admire the beauty of the world.

Gorgeous views on outside seating ! Loved the whitebait. Quick service and have tubs for dogs to drink from when they are outside .

Great pub for a visit after a walk crossing to Worm’s Head. The beer never tasted that good😜 I ordered the hog burger and it went down a treat - almost as well as a fresh pint of the Gower Ale which was on tap. Tried both and would recommend.

Also, there is a very nice terrace with awesome views overlooking the bay. Amazing photo opportunities in good weather with the tide in or out. Will be coming back.

Perfect for a stop after a cliff walk. Views are wonderful and the food is very good.

A mercifully warm retreat from the end/of-winter windswept promenade that had taken us to the causeway and back.

Some super traditional dishes on the menu; I had the lamb Cawl, which was beyond hearty, and my companion had the most delicious Welsh Rarebit.

There was a great view out there somewhere, shrouded in the sea mist but we were content to enjoy the safe haven.

We came here for lunch and were lucky to find a table by the window with a view over Worms Head. We ordered a Cumberland sausage with mashed potatoes, peas and onion gravy and Chilli con carne with rice and tortilla chips. For dessert we ordered hot chocolate fudgecake and a lemon tart. All the food was really tasty and the staff were very friendly too. Parking for the restaurant is in the National Trust car park opposite, which is pay and display, but if you are an NT member this is free. I would happily recommend the Helvetia Restaurant and I will come back if I visit Gower again.
