Lovely food, great selection for an afternoon buffet. The fact it was busy and keeping walk-ins waiting is a testament to its popularity. Service is casual, maybe a bit lax. However, the fresh food, being continually topped up, drinks brought to table, and various salads and starters more than make up for some deficiencies. We'll be back, if we're ever back in Durham.

3* LOTS of kids, but lunar new year and weekend, suppose it's expected
4* service, take it as it comes, some friendly some nor so.

The ambience was amazing, with a great variety of Chinese food. It's an all you can eat place However, they will charge you if you waste food, which is fair.
The taste was impeccable!! Friendly service.
I would highly recommend this place.
It just costs like £15-19 per head, except for the drinks, depending on what day and time you go.

PS: for all the jelly lovers, it also serves jelly in their dessert!

Sunday lunch buffet is fantastic. Food is beautiful. Staff friendly & owner is lovely. Always a pleasure to eat here.

First time back in since COVID and I was really happy with the food and the service. The wine I had was lovely. Will definitely be returning. Staff are so lovely. Monday at three o clock is very quiet.

staff are super helpful. My son stood staring at the fish tank for around five minutes. The Buffet has a really good view of the river.

Prawn and sea food lovers will love this place .
They have different prawn dish , crab , shell , pork , beef , chicken and few veggies items .

Smaller selection than other Chinese buffets but quality was much much better than the others. Great fresh tasty dishes. Staff friendly and very clean and tidy. Great selection of fresh sushi too

Went there for mother in laws birthday 15 if us. Kids included. Price is great for city centre dining. Table service for drinks or you can go to the bar. Food is regularly replenished. And is really tasty. Even with fussy kids. They had some English food items for the kids who didn't want to try. And a nice small size dessert menu. All self service. Plates are clean and utensils are clean. And as a fussy eater my self I really enjoyed the food. The chicken was melt in the mouth. And I enjoyed trying the noddles dishes.

My birthday treat, trying foods I have never eaten before and being able to pick my own portion sizes I loved it .

We, as a family, love this restaurant and can comfortably say its one of our top restaurants in our area!

Another great visit to this lovely place. We came in after 5 and the selection was awesome. Very good value and we all left happy.

Love this place! The food is always really good, always kept fresh with a quick turn around of dishes. Waiting staff are OK, not overly friendly but polite & efficient. It can get quite noisy at peak times but that just proves the place is popular.

Really enjoy going here go at least once a month always friendly staff food wise you do get more choice after six but whatever time you go in my experience nice fresh and hot food

Was treated by my oldest daughter to a mother's day n birthday lunch at Inshanghai.
Upon arriving, we were met by a friendly and welcoming member of staff, who showed us to our table. The atmosphere was relaxed, low lighting which we prefer, chilled out music, and comfortable sofa.
Once seated, we ordered drinks from the drinks menu, and then proceeded to the all you can eat lunch buffet.
The food was steaming hot and of good quality. Some are not to my liking. And some of the rice n veg was made up from using what looked like frozen veg packs, I understand this is probably for quickness.
The prawn crackers were beautiful, light in texture, and melted on the tongue." Seaweed" was also lovely. There was also these small chicken in a seasoned batter, which were also melt in your mouth tasty.
The chips and chicken nuggets looked horrible(on a later date, my partner tried some, and found them to be just that)
All in all, the lunch buffet was great.
We came back another day for the grand buffet, which had a more extensive range of food, some being the same as the lunch menu. Again, all the food was lovely, banana fritters could do with being crisper batter. But in all the staff, atmosphere was relaxed, although the grand buffet was very busy, but relaxed.

Had my 65th Birthday meal here with my very special family who surprised me 💕❤ really good. Great food and brilliant staff.

Food is good as usual. Soft drinks expensive, £26.60 for 7 pints of Pepsi Max.
