Amazing customer service.

I took a second hand childs bike to Evans Cycles today and Jamie was brilliant. He went out of his way changing the pedals, fitted front and back lights, fitted refectors on the spokes. Never had such exceptional customer service ever. I would highly recommend Evans Cycles.

Top class customer service today. Took bike in to drop off after a fault with rear brake. Told to go and get a coffee and they'd ring when bike was ready. 15 minutes later all done and ready to go. Really appreciate the help , experience and knowledge

Sales Assistant Tom was incredibly helpful when it came to me and my boyfriend finding new bikes. Very knowledgeable, honest about models, and accommodating when it came to explaining payment options.

I highly recommend coming here to learn more about bikes in general, or to get honest and valuable opinions when it comes to bagging yourself some new wheels!

Got a new Cannondale Hybrid on a cycle to work scheme with no issues. Graeme was incredibly helpful, taking his time to ensure I was getting the right bike with zero sales pressure. Thank you! Will be using this new purchase on Coast and Castles 🚴🏼‍♀

Update. Got a professional service again today from mechanic and manager Jamie who helped change tyres from my old bike to new bike, out of his own busy day. Not taking any money for this service and delivering a high standard of work and professionalism. Won’t go anywhere else for all things bike related now.

Helped me above and beyond, especially Jamie at Durham Evans, to sort out and buy a new bike and find out the exact biking gears I needed. Very helpful and friendly and never pushed to select anything, in fact helped me to choose the lowest cost gadgets and biking gears. Also gave me new ideas about biking, routes, websites. Honestly I would like to rate more than 5 if I could.

Great and prompt service! I was impressed by their skills, speed and smile. They didnot just fix the problem my bike had but also volutnarily checked the bike as a whole, giving it extra care. Great value indeed! I recommend the shop wholeheartedly.

Visited yesterday looking at a bike for my son. The gentleman talked my son through all the different specs on the bikes he liked and reserved the bike until I could come back to collect. I called about half hour later to say I was coming back and he had the bike checked over and ready for me arriving back at store and talked my son through it. Honestly I'd rate more than 5 if I could. A million times a better service than another well known bike store we visited.

Excellent customer experience. Took my daughters bike in to get repaired. (not bought from this store) The guy who repaired it was a great help. Will definitely be shopping at Evans in the future.

They did an unusual job of replacing the brake cables of a mobility walker because they had stretched, not an easy job because of end-fasteners which were not the same as on a bike.
Despite having to improvise, they did an excellent job and they did it while I waited so that I could return it to its elderly owner without delay.
Highly recommend.

I have to say that the customer service in that store was absolutely fantastic. I went in with a what was, in my mind, a Christmas emergency. My boy's new bike wasn't quite right..
Not only did the team at Evans diagnose issues I wasn't aware of, they sorted all problems, and made the new bike safe and ready to ride, at no extra cost. They did it all with a friendly smile and seemed happy to help..

Honestly brilliant team, I'll be going again to get accessories and I look forward to seeing my boy on his new bike thanks to these wonderful people.

Very helpful bike mechanics, we dropped in with no notice or anything and they squeezed us in without an appointment, and it was done same day. I thought it was a matter of a simple break bleed, but it turned out to be slightly more complex, thankfully they stocked spares for hope brakes and the job was done nice and quickly. Very good.

Bought a bike on line delivered and built in store. Great service on collection and at 6 week check up. All staff very helpful and professional. Now developed issue with a pedal, called in today replaced the pair immediately. Couldn't be happier with the
service at Durham store.

I cannot fault this store, there has been issues with IT and trying to order the items I required, Keith and Grace have both been fantastic in calling me every step of the way until I received all items. Both have been brilliant in explaining the type of bile and accessories that I required. Thank you both so much

I've used Evans at Durham 3 times for different problems over the last 6 months. Always received a very good and prompt service, they've fixed the problems, given very good advice and excellent value for money. I'll be going here in future for cycle repairs/adjustments
