Mary is a wonderful host. Makes delicious home made bread and jams/jelly and has many great stories to share.

Her home is beautiful and the views are fantastic.

Will definitely return if I'm ever in the area.

Traditional bed and breakfast good value and relatively to close Conwy. Very welcoming host with excellent local knowledge. Bedrooms all upstairs with communal bathroom.

What a great place. Fabulous place to stay. Beautiful magnola tree - but best of all, great company. Mary was a great host to our lively family of 5 and 2 dogs! Would highly recommend. See you again soon :)

Lovely little place to stay. Our host Mary was very sweet . She's also a great cook and is very well informed about the local area.

Mary is an exceptional hostess, wonderful breakfast ready every morning and great stories to be told. The location is idyllic and very conducive to hiking or getting lost in the country lanes like I did. I intend to return to this B&B one day soon.

Great place! Mary's a wonderful host, the cottage is full of character (dates back to the 1600s!) and the location is ideal for this side of Snowdonia and places on the coast like Conwy.

When fantasising about what a B&B in Wales should be like, this is what you come up with. An incredible warm welcome, a lovely cottage with a great view and a beautiful garden in which the fruits for the homemade jams are grown are only a few of the reasons to spend the night here. We won't think twice about where to go if we're in Wales again.

Cosy, friendly and clean, not too far from Snowdon. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

A very great location and host

Our visit to Firs Cottage has been a long awaited one and when the opportunity arose I insisted we go!

This a very ancient house so the charm is in the thick walls the oak beams and the compact cottage style the 15th Century

Our host greeted us with tea and fresh baked scones with home made jam - such a rare treat in our busy lives.

Our host showed me around the property and chatted away about the Welsh language - which we were all struggling with on the pronunciation - and her tips helped immensely.

The feature I liked best about the cottage was the garden and a real stream running through it.

Very good place with 20 min drive to the main mountains
