My favourite coffee shop in North Wales! This place is always top notch for food and drinks. I highly recommend the breakfast, food is fresh and locally sourced too which makes it even better. Definitely worth the wait.

(Vegan Friendly 🥬) Love this place, definitely one of my favourite places to go when in Wales.

Set in a lovely area and such a calm relaxing environment with an immense amount of tea to try. Amazing food and drink, brilliant quality and portion size is always good.

The best thing is Vegan and Veggie options.

Staff are friendly.

The only drawback is long queues to order and pay for food but it arrives quickly and tastes delicious 😋

Dog friendly! My favourite cafe in Snowdonia. Went back 5 times in 1 week. Had great Welsh breakfast and vegetarian breakfast. Vegan hot dog was amazing. The cakes are always fresh and tasty! Give a go if you are nearby, definitely worth the visit. I absolutely love the Gorila donations.

Brilliant place to relax with friends. Been many times before. Often a queue but that's because the food is so good and prices reasonable! Also serve vegan/veggie meals. 140 varieties of leaf teas that can be purchased. Backs onto railway station and miniature railway.

Without a doubt, the best coffee and lunch place in Betws-y-Coed. But service can be slow due to the sheer number of people that come here, but the wait is worthy.

The best cooked breakfast we have had BY FAR, we have really been treated by Betws-y-Coed. The husband had traditional and I had the vegan option, full of flavour! And portions were HUGE. Saved us having anything for lunch so we went back and had the exact same again the next day. Staff lovely too, and so many things to look at in the venue! Thank you for a great experience.

A truly fantastic experience, the scene is set as you walk in with hundreds of teas and sweet pastries to your left. Not only is the menu varied, it's vegan and vegetarian friendly, and all the ingredients are responsibly sourced. The food is excellent, I had the falafel and hummus platter, which was fresh and incredibly filling. I'll definitely be coming back here!

We had a great ‘Afternoon Tea for Two’ here. Friendly service and the food was really nice.

You can choose any tea from their big tea menu. We had two different types of Sandwiches; 4 cucumber and 4 cheese with sweet chutney. Then 2 scones, 2 cakes, 4 slices of Bara Brith and other assorted pastries!

Extremely popular and extremely busy. Best tea shop that I know of in Wales. The range of teas is outstanding. I would stay clear of the gins though. Cakes and savouries were delicious.
There was quite a wait to get to the till and you must go to the till to get your order in and paid for. Once paid the service is exceptional. When we visited there was virtually no seats available inside but the area outside was fine. We did however get a seat inside ultimately.

Loved it! The staff are working very hard at the moment as they are understaffed. Coffee and food all brilliant. A proportion of profits go to charities supporting apes. Wanted to try a lot more of the menu - all looks great. Would like to see the sachets replaced with refillable bottles of condiments, especially with such a focus on being eco friendly - I do understand the economics of it, though. Thanks for a great breakfast!

Friendly staff, cosy interior, outdoor seating. The café is short staffed so customers are instructed to grab a menu, get a table (number), then order at the till. There was a line but it moved quickly and service was quick. We had the classic burger with BBQ sauce, vegan hot dog, and two cannolis. The burger came with a generous amount of stuff in the bun and a big pile of chips (fries), and the hot dog was piled high with caremelised onions. A satisfying and delicious lunch.

We called in here because it was clearly shown as dog friendly on the window, which others were not.
The staff were very friendly, service was super. It was very busy so we had to queue at the counter. Food and drinks followed very quickly and the quality was top notch. Lemon cake was the best we had all week.
Glad we chose this cafe, we would reccomend it.

Amazing food! So good we came back two days in a row. Found this little gem on the happy cow app as a vegan myself I always like to know where is vegan friendly and this place did not let us down! My friend had the vegetarian breakfast and I had the vegan breakfast and it was 10/10. Also the range of speciality teas is amazing. We also enjoyed a smoothie and coffee. All the staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome while giving great service, a true asset to the business. It was busier on our second visit but this did not affect the quality of food or service we received. A must visit for anyone visiting nearby. Will be back every time we visit Betws-y-coed from now on!

We visited the alpine coffee shop this morning during a trip to Betws-y-coed for a morning pitstop and to get out of the rain.
The shop has a really good vibe to it, with plentiful seating both inside and out, with cover for the outside seating from the rain.
I had a cappuccino and my partner a peppermint tea, and we shared a couple of Canolles, which were delicious.
If you're in the village and in need of a warm drink and a slice of cake then look no further.

Always a favorite of mine to visit, well worth the wait in the queue & getting a table can be a challenge, if there's two of you better if one knows what everyone is ordering so you can grab a table. The coffee has always been very good quality as well as very nice food, I've not had a dish that I haven't liked yet! I've been going for over 6 years now! A good welcome atmosphere where walker's and visitors mix well. I could spend all day here passing by the time.

Didn’t eat here but drinks and cookie were nice. Queue is big but staff are definitely trying their best. Food looked good and will hopefully try that next time!
Enjoyed the toilet story on the door!
