Brought a pair of boots, great experience. Only shop to size my feet and had a great choice. It was the first shop I went to and said I'll probably be back but wanted to try other boots. Went to cotswold but didn't like the boots on offer and fit plus they didn't size. But they said "we dont have them but have to tried these boots". I said "yes at Ellis Brigham the first shop I went to". Should of brought them and save myself the fuel.

Fantastic selection of basic, but high quality, outdoor gear. Their full selection is not avaliable in this store, but it has a good range of clothes and boots/shoes. I think that this shop is seasonal, so won't be open over the winter months. If you're heading out into snowdonia then this would be a good place to pop into if you need any last minute gear or advice.

I popped into Joe Brown just up the road to buy a climbing helmet. Great choice of helmets but not even an acknowledgement even when I tried a few on. I admitted defeat and walked down the road to Ellis Brigham. Far fewer helmets but much, much better service and I didn't want to buy online. Sort out your customer service Joe Brown!
