The Dragon Hotel and Restaurant

Had an excellent stay at the dragon hotel and restaurant over 4 days in September. the owner's were very accommodating and allowing us to book an extra night at short notice and were and was very friendly the whole time we stayed there.

The breakfast on offer were amazing with any number of return visits to stock up to keep your energy up for the day out that you used walking up and around the hills in the area.

the evening meal was a paid for extra however the portions were huge and they were very accommodating with the drinks that tied in with the food.

The rooms were very comfortable and well kept. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and the service excellent. We were a big group and the owners brought us two bottle of bubbly to celebrate the new year all ok the house. The B&B is within walking distance to the centre and a great base for anyone deciding to walk in the area. We will recommend to friends and family.

Stunning views, adventures straight outside your door, two minute walk from village / swallow falls. Staff where friendly, gave us free drinks to enjoy the sunshine. Very welcoming, nice people. Bed was comfortable with an ensuit. Would highly recommend this quirky B&B.

Myself and six others had a meal there last weekend and we all were very impressed.

We had a mixture of starters and mains which everyone said was excellent! In my opinion, the best and most authentic Chinese food out of China (I have been to China and love Chinese food).

The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive.

Can not recommend enough.

Went for an evening meal with friends on Sunday. Staff were amazing, waiter from Kent was outstanding. Food was THE best chinese we'd all ever had, will most definitely be returning! Thank you so much. HIGHLY recommend, although would love to keep it a secret so its not fully booked

We stayed at the Dragon hotel and restaurant over Christmas, which is located in a beautiful environment. The view is stunning and all the shops, etc is only a short walk away. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. They made a delicious traditional Christmas dinner. Parking is available in front of the hotel and plenty of nice places around within easy reach. Highly recommended!

Excellent Chinese food and service. Fed 7 hungry slightly tippsy men after a long day in the mountains, had the set menu for £23 a head and it was lovely and very good value for all the courses you get.
Would definitely go again if in the area

Omg!! The best Chinese meal I've ever eaten. We had the Fire Cracker set menu. It was amazing. Staff pleasant and interior unusual yet very pleasing to the eye. A comfortable restaurant with excellent food!

the breakfast was amazing with more than enough to eat and enough to power you through a full day of walking up and down the hills around Betws-y-Coed.

although the evening meal was an extra charge it was still excellent with a large selection and some wonderful drinks to go along with it.

The rooms were clean well-presented and well stocked with all the basics that you need.

overall very impressive and would very much recommend for anybody wanted to stay in Betws-y-Coed with a lovely base of operations.

Perfect location for Snowdon climb. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy, and offered every we needed after a long old hike, the most comfortable bed in the world. We had a beautiful 4 course Chinese in the evening and the most perfect breakfast the next day.
My only one minor gripe (only because I feel you should know) would be the sound of creaking floors from the upstairs any time someone moved. We were outside of building main building in the two storey accomodation. I guess where it's just old the creaking of floorboards from upstairs can be rather noisy especially at night.
I would highly recommend this little place. It's warm and cosy only a short walk down into the town which offers shops and other hotels to eat and drink in. We definitely made the right choice.

Arrived after a long day's walking so we were hungry! The fire banquet delivered. Tastey food in all 4 courses, great value and enough to fill us up which was no mean feat! Good service too. Will be coming again next time we are here

The food was amazing, the best Chinese I've ever had! The bed was really comfortable, after walking all day, and the room was very clean. I can't fault this place at all.

We had a wonderful Chinese meal for my mums birthday at the dragon. The food is amazing and the staff are all so friendly and welcoming.

If we lived closer, we would eat here all the time. Great treat for a great holiday in Snowdonia

Best Singapore Style food. For spice lovers! Group of 15. Delicious freshly prepared food all round. Had a little wait which was expected and staff kept us apprised appropriately.

Went one lunch time with wife and granddaughter,had a fantastic meal,all enjoyed it very much,even our little Rosie Wolfed her fish finger and chips down,fresh fish you gougons
,the chicken and halloumi hanging kebab with sweet chilli sauce was to die for.Service was top class will try evening meal soon.

Beautiful view, Lovely clean hotel. Very helpful staff. Shame the restaurant wasn't open as my wife loves Chinese food.

We are staying here for four nights. Lovely clean room. Very pleasant and helpful owners. Very good breakfast.

Excellent food and really friendly service. We turned up quite late when everything else around was shut and were still extremely welcoming and didn't rush us.
