I have not been to Red Lion for many years, popped in for a quick pint, and bite to eat on spur of the moment. It was a pleasant surprise, nice country pub feel, very welcoming hosts, good grub and warm atmosphere. Will not be leaving it so long next time.

Update: Of this pub is so good! These are people who know how to run one very very well.

We arrived soaking wet after walking in torrential rain to a warm welcome from both the staff and the regulars; what a wonderfu, friendly bunch of people.
I must mention the choice and condition of the beer; simply superb!
This is how to run a pub!

Update: This place is just superb! Warm welcome, excellent food which is also great value & great ale, even the customers are all so delightful. Positivism, friendliness, & service abound; it really is excellent.

Wonderful Sunday roast. Good amount of meat and lots of fresh veg cooked to perfection. Starter of chilli beef strips were delicious.

Had a couple of lovely meals here recently.
Both amazing.
Last week had the 3 course Christmas dinner menu with some friends.
The food was outstanding. Maz the chef came out to check on us. Really lovely lady, obviously passionate about what she does.
Tom was our waiter, he was great, very attentive, although terrible at taking photos 😆
We were sat by the open fire, made it feel very cosy and Christmassy 🥰
Thank you!

Beautiful mid October day to sit out and enjoy the sun with friends! The pint and cheesy chips (very nice chips and very cheesy, too 🙂) were a nice addition.

Had a fabulous Sunday (Mother's day) roast. I'm wheat intolerant and I had an abundance of choices of gluten free options. The food was delicious and the staff were very caring and attentive. Highly reccomend a visit for the cosy atmosphere and delicious food!

Loved it. After a bit of walking about Shoreham decided to go the extra 10 minutes out of town and wasn't disappointed. Literally just finished and it was great. Good value, helpful staff, great atmosphere.

First time we have been for a long time. The new owners have made a very good job of renovating the pub, the food was good and the service very friendly.

This pub has been refurbished and looks stylish. The service was a little slow on food but it was worth the wait. Lovely fish and chips and the steak was great. Lots of choices of drinks. I would recommend a visit.
