My 1970s Thorens turntable broke, and after taking it somewhere else, who tried twice to fix it without success, I almost lost hope. M J Still diagnosed the issue over the phone pretty much, and after I dropped it in was able to fix it at a very reasonable price. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommended.

My amp stopped working on 1 channel. Unit was repaired. Very happy with price and service,unit works like new. Also advised on cause of problem being my leads,which he doesn't sell by the way. So not a sales pitch. Would highly recommend

My elderly Pioneer receiver had given up the ghost. I dropped it in last week and picked it up yesterday. Very pleased to have it working again and repaired at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I was looking for someone to repair my old but decent hi-fi turntable. Of the 4 people I tried, Mike was the only one not to charge to look at it. The others gave an estimated cost of over £100 and one said to ditch and buy another as the cost to repair would be aaround £200. Mike diagnosed the problem, bought the part and fitted it for £32. And he's a nice guy too. Recommended

Absolute Star! I left a 1960 radiogram chassis which had serious issues I didn't think would ever be sorted.........Mike not only modified and installed another part, at an extremely reasonable price, but has now made my house reverberate..literally! to what only valve amps can produce. 100% Great Bloke.

I took my power tool battery charger to this guy and I thought that it couldnt be fixed and I know I can't buy a new battery changer anymore.
To cut a long story short this shop fixed it like brand new again because it just wanted a transformer and I could believe it when this guy said it was all fixed.
I had to put a battery on it straight to see it working and yes it works 100 per cent again but a little better then before.
For any electronic repairs I do from the bottom of my Hart recommend anyone to this shop.
It's a 10 out of 10 from me.

Used Mike several times to service, modify (FX Loop) or repair my old Marshalls. This guy knows his onions. At any time in his shop you might see old Fenders, Oranges and Voxs, amongst the other Hi-Fi and electrical gear that has been repaired. He's a top guy too, no bullsh*t, happy to chat, quick turnaround on the repairs and doesn't charge the earth like some other techs in the area.

Nice Knowledgeable chap, no nonsense and will sort your amp out no problem. Free estimates as well which is good just in case your will cost a lot he won't just do it and then surprise you with a massive bill.

Great job at a very fair price. This involved removing (and replacing) around 200 screws to access and repair the input and output jacks on a vintage synth.
