Saracens Head, Beddgelert, LL55 4UY

Popped in for a pint and a bite to eat, and ended up going back the next two days also, as the beer, food and service was fab!! Roast beef dinner was mahoosive! Chris, the bar manager was fantastic at his job and kept the smooth running of the pub, worth his weight in gold! Highly recommend!

Amazing food, wonderful staff..... (Service was a little slow, but to be expected on a busy bank holiday weekend) Great beer, lovely surroundings and most of all.... Great value.

We were expecting to be turned away, as after 14 of us (7 adults and 7 children and a dog) had been walking for 6 hours in the rain, all dripping wet. We thought it was too nicer looking pub for use to enter. However the welcome could not have been warmer. Thank you. The staff were brilliant and the facilities were exceptional. Definitely going to revisit. An asset to Beddgelert and Wales. Once again thank you.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The manager and other staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and very warm. Breakfast was great too. I slept like a baby!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms were lovely and clean and the whole place had such a welcoming vibe. The staff were very helpful and were very accommodating with our dog, even bringing her her own sausage for breakfast! A great place to be based in the lovely village of Beddgelert (with a very good breakfast to start off your day!) Will be back very soon, thank you!

Just called in for drinks and Sunday lunch . 6 adults , 1 child and a dog. Food was delicious and massive. Best we have had around for a while . Service was great and fast all fresh homemade hot food.

We called in here for an evening meal and it was brilliant. The food was incredible and we ended up taking some away with us, because the portions are huge. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. There are lots of tabletop games and activities available (for kids and adults) and even blankets if you want to get extra cosy. I would definitely recommend visiting if you're nearby.

We didn't stay in the pub, so I can't rate the rooms, but if the rest of the pub is anything to go by, they'll be outstanding.
The village is lovely, some awesome motorcycling roads around the village with some spectacular views. Staff in the pub were awesome. Would highly reccomend a visit if you're in the area.

Turned up in a group of 7 for the Sunday roast, the staff were great, food came out super fast. It was a really lovely roast, all of us throughly enjoyed it.

A weekend of walking, we stopped off in Beddgelert today, this pub is so charming and warmly invites you in, the staff are so engaging and friendly, the food was lovely, a mix of locals and walkers, lots of cute dogs and just a lovely atmosphere.

We booked a family meal for 12 December 2023. It was a great meal and the service was excellent. Dog friendly, baby friendly and child friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely 1 night stay at the Saracens Head. I rang 2 days before to book the room and Sheryl was very helpful and booked us in the Superior King Room (2), this was a lovely room with nice little touches and robes to use if needed. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had drinks there in the afternoon, then had food & drinks later that evening. All the food was lovely, and even though they were really busy, we didn't wait long. The owners were really friendly and accommodating (they've only been there 9 weeks). We will definitely be staying again.

Called in for a drink and some lunch today and they had sunday lunch on offer at a very reasonable price. It came very quick and it had the biggest Yorkshire puddings iv ever seen with 3 different potatoes and all the veg. Nice and hot and so tasty. You made our day celebrating our Anniversary. Definitely worth a visit.

Really friendly and so clean. There were clean towels at the entrance for owners to wipe their dogs muddy paws. How awesome is that.

The staff here are amazing nothing too much trouble had a great meal along with our party of golden girls they loved the afternoon /evening spent here wouldn't hesitate coming again thankyou

We had a great time at the Saracens head, spent 2 nights there around climbing Snowdon and really enjoyed the room, the food and the company. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The whole place is very dog friendly with great food and treats that went down well.

We will certainly be back

Dropped in for food - service was fantastic everyone was so friendly and the food is amazing. Definitely a regular spot for us.

Stopped here for sunday dinner and a couple of pints after a walk along the river. It was fantastic huge portion and great quality food the staff were nice too.

Stayed in this fab hotel last week.. It's in a gorgeous part of Snowdonia and recently reopened under new management. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and staff go well out of their way to ensure customers needs were met. They have great recommendations for places to see and things to do. The hotel is beautifully decorated, spotless and the food is fabulous. We highly recommend staying here...and make sure to spoil Edith the dog who loves nothing more than to lie in the sun and get luvies💖
