Snowdon Lodge

We rented Snowdon lodge for a 60th birthday - Carl and Anja were incredibly welcoming and accommodating and gave great suggestions of things to do, places to eat, and where to get good beer! The lodge was clean, well equipped and had loads of space for a diverse group such as ours (we had a range from 1 year old to 81 year old!). The access to fields/woods to walk the dogs was an added bonus as was the ample car parking.

We hired the property for a weekend away with friends and children. Snowdon Lodge is a fantastic property - spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Carl and Anja have thought of everything - the kitchen has everything you need, there’s a great games room, loads of lovely bathrooms, drying room - everything you need for a weekend. Location is perfect - just a few miles to lovely beaches, villages/towns close by with pubs and shops. Communication was great too - really helpful couple. We had a ball and hope to go back! Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time staying at Snowden Lodge. A great place for families. They catered for all our needs. A spacious Lodge with good size bedrooms, dining and lounge area. Excellent kitchen with plenty of fridge space.
As a family of 26+ we had a fabulous time. The venue is situated near lots of activities and beaches close by. A brilliant location.

Snowdon Lodge was the perfect place to stay with a large group while walking in the area. We were there for a week. The Lodge is comfortable and well appointed for a group with a large kitchen and dining room as well as meeting room, games room. The lounge room is particularly comfortable and inviting. Our bedroom was great - very clean and had a brand new ensuite bathroom. We only met one of the owners - Carl - and he was friendly and helpful.

Had the best weekend here. 29 of us and we all enjoyed it. The house was very clean and well equipped. Would recommend it.

This place was perfect for our large family gathering for a special birthday. And well situated for exploring north Wales/Snowdonia. I haven't stayed in hostal type accommodation since I was at school but this wasn't how I remember them, mind you that was the 80s/90s!! It was more than expected the place was really clean and tidy, Carl met us on arrival and did a walk round, really nice guy gave us lots of tips and ideas for things to do and see in the area. The house has a very large dining room, we moved some tables together to form one for us all to fit around as a family. Ther is a comfy sitting room with large flat screen tv and 4 sofas. All en suites were modern and clean, showers were nice and powerful and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was really well equipped, plenty of fridges and two huge ovens, the 5 minute dishwasher was great for clearing up after big family meals and the hot water urn perfect for doing a quick cuppa no need to boil a kettle! Games room has two pool tables, foosball, darts and other table games and cards which kept us happy. There is also a new downstairs accessible en suite bedroom. Plenty of parking and an outside patio area with fire pit surrounded by logs to perch on and an outdoor bbq area. Would definately return if we had a another large group event.

Extraordinary experience all around. The property is amazing and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful folks. The property has many rooms - all in great condition. It includes multiple meeting rooms and a billiards room as well as a full kitchen and large dining area.
As of this writing, the property is for sale, and I would certainly buy it if I was in any position to do so.

We were a party of 27 with multiple families for a 50th Birthday celebration. The layout of the rooms allowed us to allocate rooms perfectly and the rooms were all cosy and clean. The majority were ensuite and had been refurbished to a high standard.
Carl and Anja were both very helpful and at the same time allowed us the freedom to enjoy the property as we saw fit.

The location is remarkable and you are surrounded by beautiful views in all directions. The local beach is exceptionally.

We went off and did activities at local centres (within 30 mins drive), Zip World (great experience) plus Paddle Boarding, Rafting and Kayaking.

The lodge allowed us the flexibility to enjoy each others company but also to find private moments with the multitude of rooms and outside space.

The kitchen was superbly fitted with ample Fridges, cookers etc together with a super fast dishwasher to cater for all of us.

Highly recommend a stay

We've been to Snowdon Lodge last October as a large young families group - we were in 7 families: 15 adults and 9 children around 5 years old. The children left the house crying saying they wanted to live there forever! Carl and Anja are amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful with all the details before our arrival or anytime we needed anything during our stay. The house was so clean which is quite impressive considering the size of it. The beds were lovely and as a group that loves cooking, that amazing professional kitchen was a dream come true and made our days so much easier! To top it all up, Snowdonia is just stunning! Highly recommended!!

My work team and I stayed at this lodge for 2 nights and we had the best time. The hosts were fantastic, friendly and helpful and the hostel itself was spacious, clean with multiple rooms for us all to be together. There is a games rooms along with a dining area and lounge, multiple bedrooms and a sitting area outside too. Would not hesitate to come back. There are beautiful views and it's very close if you wish to climb Mount Snowdon like we did!

We have stayed at Snowdon Lodge several times in the past with family, and have just returned from a weekend stay, this time with our work team. We had a fabulous time. The facilities and communal spaces are excellent - spacious and well equipped. Fab outdoor space and fantastic hosts - friendly and approachable, but unobtrusive. We love it here and have another stay booked already for next month with friends. Our work team are already asking to come back next year too!

Had 23 staying for my 50th birthday including 10 kids, it had a great combination of rooms to suit us all,  most of us had an ensuite, there are 3 new rooms that are really nice and spacious with lovely bathrooms. Even the more basic rooms were fitted out nicely. The facilities were great, the kichen is well equipped for large groups. Never had to use the drying room fortunately but good to know it was there. Spent the day at Blackrock Sands and had a lesurely walk round the local forest path. Enjoyed a visit to one of the local pubs in Tremadog (Union Inn), great to have a pub, chippy and shop so close.
Would love to come back some time for a longer stay, we would highly recommend😀

We recently spent the weekend at Snowdon Lodge to celebrate a 50th birthday. The Lodge was perfect for a large mixed age group. The kids had a ball in the games room and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and socialise together. The kitchen was well equipped and although basic, the rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. The hosts made us feel so welcome and offered great advice about a quiet route up Snowdon. The Lodge was value for money and perfect for the occasion. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I stayed here the weekend just gone with my work team. The accommodation was spot on for what we needed. I had a large ensuite room, that was nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The bathroom was enormous and the shower was awesome! Just what I needed after a day climbing Snowdon; a nice, hot shower! The communal areas were also great and spacious. We had such a fabulous time and will definitely be returning in the future. Hosts were fabulous too so thank you for the most wonderful weekend that allowed us to creaate so many great and cherished memories.

Very spacious rooms and communal areas, even for large groups. I was impressed with the number of ensuite bathrooms and their condition. The kitchen and facility as a whole was very well equipped, all on a great piece of land for time outside, parking, and very conveniently located for adventures up Snowdon and around Snowdonia. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Visited family who were staying here. Absolutely brilliant property, ideal for large groups wanting to explore Snowdon as we did.

What a great place in Wales, the Property is amazing and so many rooms, the place is also so clean and tidy, Snowdon Lodge was the perfect place to stay in as a large group, it is also local to everything if you need to travel out, so much play area including outside, the outside location is so big for large groups to play in, there is also a games are for kids and 2 area's to chill out for Adults, the kids would not leave the games room and had a wonderful time there, this place is also reasonably priced, Carl and Anya who own the place are such lovely people, very welcoming, Carl also responded to all my emails with 3 hours, the communication was easy, thank you so much for such a wonderful time here and hope to see you again soon, Thanks, Shabba

Amazing accommodation which provided for my family of 30 and they all had a wonderful time, especially the kids as there was a game room with multiple pool and billiards table alongside an fuseball table to keep them busy.

We stayed at the lodge for a works team weekend and were thrilled with it. Rooms were clean, many had en suite, showers were nice and hot, industrial kitchen allowed us to cook in bulk, and a lovely lounge and outside space to socialize. Looking forward to visiting again in the future. Thanks guys!
