An amazing clear day after weeks of poor weather. Such great views over Snowdonia and also out to the coast. Loved it!
The hike up from Beddgelert was an easy start and dry. The upper slopes were fairly steep with the summit final pinch being steep, with a little scramble. Kids love this bit!
The views make this a very worthwhile hike.
Parking in Beddgelert is good if you’re nice and early.

An amazing mountain, the route I took was steep and i felt knackered at the top. No views as the cloud cover was low, but the views below the cloud level were stunning. One of the most scenic walks I've been on. Highly recomended.

Much quieter than snowdon and a much more challenging ascent and walk in general but good day from Beddgelert campsite and following the 2 peaks to the NNW.

Great walk with no crowds and nobody else in sight. Lower slopes very wet and marshy and steep climb up towards summit. The route itself is hard to follow as no signs and path not very obvious.

Great hike without crowds. Circural walk from Beddgelert about 5hrs. So another two peaks lake and way back through Forest.

About Tremadog
Village in Wales

Tremadog is a village in the community of Porthmadog, in Gwynedd, north west Wales; about one mile north of Porthmadog town centre. It was a planned settlement, founded by William Madocks, who bought the land in 1798. The centre of Tremadog was complete by 1811 and remains substantially unaltered. Tremadog hosted an unofficial National Eisteddfod event in 1872. source
