Had a lovely stay friendly and helpful staff breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Room had a few maintenance issues and decor needs updating for that reason we found it a bit overpriced

They where short staffed and there was no beer on as they had a large party of people at the weekend and they ran out the soup was off the menu as they had ran out at lunch time. The room was lovely but there where clumps of dog hair's on the carpet as they do let pets stay. The lift is very small and had no light in it so a bit daunting for some.

Really good service from Josh (the manager) and the team. We had an issue with the previous manager who failed to register our booking on the system. Once we arrived after a 4.5 hour drive we were worried that this would mean we'd have nowhere to stay. But Josh worked tirelessly to make sure there was a room available and found one despite being fully booked.

The stay was then fantastic. Brilliant views and brilliant access to mount snowdon. Would definitely stay again.

We have recently returned from a 2 night stay here, where we occupied 3 rooms.
The hotel is homely, comfortable, clean and with excellent food.
We enjoyed our meal so much on the first night that we chose to eat here again on our second.
The staff are very polite and attentive and apologetic at extended wait times due to COVID related staffing issues.
Our meals were served promptly the first night but there was a delay the second but the quality was worth the wait!
Breakfast cooked to order and alternative choices are available (I recommend the kippers and salmon)
Stunning location, ample parking and lovely outside bar area.
Would highly recommend.

We booked some tables for my wedding meal. The staff went above and beyond being so accommodating they even did the decorations for us for free! The food was gorgeous as usual. I could not have picked a better place for my wedding meal. They were so friendly and very patient as we had 3 corgis with us at the meal. I just want to say a massive thank you to the staff at the pub, they really made my wedding night feel special I could not recommend this place enough. The portions are very generous and the cocktails are really nice. You really get what you pay for and you wont find better service anywhere else. Thanks again guys!

The Royal Goat exceeded our expectations, we read reviews b4 we went and they weren't very completely, but we found the opposite, staff extremely friendly couldn't do enough for you the rooms where very clean an comfortable the breakfasts where 10/10 and evening meals where very tasty and great value for money, what's to complain about , we also took our elderly dog who was spoilt rotten and given sausages every morning for his breakfast, can't wait to go back well done everyone at the Royal Goat for a wonderful weekend ❤❤🐾🐾

Yes, this hotel could do with a decorating upstairs but generally very good.
Food, which is important to me, was excellent. OK, a tad pricey, but well worth it. Staff are excellent and very helpful. The rooms we had were very good. To top it all, they allow dogs to stay in your room so Sasha, our black lab had a lovely weekend.
Would certainly go again

The Royal Goat was a very warm and welcoming place to stay and dine at. We stayed in the superior double room and the view from the window was incredible. The room was very clean, tidy and was well kitted out. The food was excellent, it was well cooked and tasted amazing! The small team of staff were all very helpful and professional at all times and would assist in any way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Beddgelert is a beautiful place to stay! Five stars, thank you very much, will return in the future.

OMG what a place! What a location! Room was great to accommodate two adults and a child. Food was amazing. Staff was very accommodating and made us feel special. They were beyond nice or kind - they were friendly!! All of them were capable of doing anything, from serving, through bar service to reception admin. You never wait long to get anything done. Food was really nice, but if you're there sunny forget to book your dinner as spaces are limited. Do it in the morning before your hike.
If it was a Four in a Bed I would find few things, but overall it is an amazing place with amazing people. It was my son's first trip to the mountains and he absolutely loved it. People in the hotel were big part of it. I love Beddgelert and will be going back. The Royal Goat Hotel will be my first choice! Well done guys. All of you. See you soon, I hope 😊

Stayed the bank holiday weekend. Last minuet booking. The staff were amazing. Extremely polite. Although the menu was limted the food was brilliant and reasonable priced. We had the superior room with ensuite. Couldn't have asked for a better room, bed very comfy. Breakfast waiter was fantastic and extremely cheerful. Would stay here again without a doubt. Only draw back and it's a picky is the the building outside needs some tlc. Thank you staff for an excellent stay.

Just nipped in one afternoon. The coffee was decent, and the place was lovely, in the grand Victorian style. There is a car park too, which is handy In the windy narrow streets of Beddgelert. Although I didn't eat there, the menu looked like it would be worth a return visit to try soon.

Very good place to stay, staff are welcoming and friendly, food is good as well, only two niggles Wi-Fi none existent and other residents forgetting to close the lift door meaning a long walk to the top floor, we will be returning. Almost forgot about the bed, perfect.

A dog friendly hotel with brilliant staff and superb food! You can take dog into the grill bar restaurant to eat but not into the buffet breakfast room in the morning, which is fine, as you just eat in the grill bar....... great selection of gins. Very close to Snowdon and beddgelert is a lovely little village with great pubs nearby. Great for families, dog owners and hikers.

We started here three nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were super friendly. The room was big, and we had great internet... Which can be tough to come by. Breakfast was excellent as well.

Amazing hotel. Many of its original features were retained, giving the feeling of stepping back in time. The location was great and staff were superb and the village is so quaint and pretty. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're intending to trek up Snowdon.

Went in at lunch time. It was empty, but they made up tables for us and served very nice home made soup (broccoli & hazelnut) and bread. Good kids meals to, not processed, freshly made. Reasonably priced and good service.

Stopped in at the Goat Hotel when we went to see Gelert. Turns out he died a long time ago, which is so sad as I see you're a dog friendly place. The beer was nice and the room was airy.
The live goat wandering round was a superb touch, though I was worried he might try to eat the sheets.
