Thank you so much guys for helping us with picking the right pair of mountaneering boots for our trip to the Himalayas! As well as all other pieces of gear we needed (axe, crampons, harnesses etc). Our boots and harnesses were very confortable for summit push (a 16h long day!). They definetely contributed to make our trip successful. We cannot wait to be back in Wales and pay you guys another visit! Thank you so much for all of your help!

The shop is located in Capel Curig and visible as you drive to Snowdon
There is free parking outside and shop is accessible for all. Inside are quality brands for walking such as waterproof jackets or down jackets from Rab and Mountain Equipment. You also have walking shoes or boots and climbing equipment. We visited at a time when there was an excellent sale. The staff were excellent showing knowledge of the items in the shop. Also they were extremely helpful as we purchased waterproof jackets, walking trousers and tops. With the sale discount we bought some bargains. Worth a visit if passing

I lost my flask I bought here and they even filled it up with hot water also showed on there computer via Google map were my next destination and what to look for...Great Staff

Simply the best outdoor shop in the uk. Their knowledgable staff, choice of kit they sell and Nothing else and pricing is amazing.
I would not buy my kit from anywhere else.

The best shop for outdoor stuff , great selection to ensure your not missing anything … walking , fell running , climbing , camping , snow , rain , heat … something for just about all your needs … we’ll they’ve sorted what I’ve needed. And when they didn’t the staff were helpful enough to suggest and alternative , which just makes me come back more often.

Excellent shop, full of a great range of outdoor products. Excellent selection of cooking equipment, clothes and climbing walking camping essentials.
As you'd expect knowledgeable and helpful staff however this is a high end shop, so expect high end prices.

Popped in Saturday lunchtime as I knew they stocked la sportiva trail shoes. Hate buying stuff online and i whilst I was in town I wanted to make the most of it. The lady was very helpful and managed to find out all the details for the shoes that i was asking after. Also helped find a couple of things I needed plus have a few suggestions on places hike that weren’t so well travelled. Great service from her. Sorry I didn’t catch the name.

Wow what a shop the gear they have available is second to none ! I was visiting wales last weekend and stop off in the shop for a look and I was blown away of the welcoming attitude from the staff to the overall knowledge I brought a pair of la sportiva tc pro from these guys and the guidance and over all 10/10 the guy that served me was called Niel and was gent and a credit to the shop will be going back !

Great selection of products for all your mountain needs

Huge range of outdoor gear in a solid range of women's clothing sizes (not something other outdoor shops always offer). Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They suggested alternative walking routes to avoid the crowds on a very sunny, busy bank holiday weekend. Couldn't be more grateful. Thanks fellers!

Chocker block with great kit. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Plus there's a free drinking water tap around the back, great if you're out on a walk and are running low!
