Coombes Farm Tours

This is the second year we have to visit lambing. My granddaughter really loves the baby lambs and wanted to bring one home and was upset when told no.

Amazing time at Church Farm, Coombes for lambing! Staff and volunteers were very friendly and shared lots of information. We had the opportunity to see lambs being born and feed the ‘pet lambs’. Fun tractor tour across the farmland seeing the animals out in the fields, as well as some Red Kites. Decent facilities (toilets, washing, cafe, ice cream van etc). Definitely worth it! Worth knowing that the ‘pet lamb’ bottle feeding times are at 12:00 and 16:00 hrs.

Went with the Grandchildren too see the lambs which had all just been born. Very well organised and plenty too see. We also took the tractor ride up onto the downs which offered lovely panoramic views although chilly once on top but can't complain as it was early April. Visited the lovely church which is registered in the doomsday book and again, offered a great visit with its small but tranquil grounds. We also went into the tea shop which had a good range of drinks and bites, well priced too. This is a really super place and worth visiting with the youngsters as quite a bit too see and not forgetting the cow shed with new born calves.

Absolutely loved it, had a fantastic time.The scenery was beautiful on the way up there very pleasant drve. Had a lovely time with our 2½Yr old son and his cousin's the lambs were so cute and the staff were so friendly and polite. Even got a chance to hold a baby lamb it was such great fun for all the family young and old. We are Definitely going again next year and recommending to other to go along!

Me and my mum took my daughter for the first time to see the lambs , she absolutely loved it , it was lovely to see how the farm works and seeing all the lambs , we also saw a calf as well. When we arrived , we didn't have to wait long in the queue to book ourselves in as I precooked only , I also took my daughters old baby bottles with me for the staff to feed the lambs that need to be bottle fed , the staff were so grateful for the bottles, we also did the tractor ride around a couple of the fields and saw more eof the lambs in the fields and there could of possibly of been some more calfs. We had a brilliant time and already thinking about going again next year .

Visited this area and the pretty Coombe church. Lots of visitors seen at the farm and exploring the adjacent fields by tractor rides. Good experience for children.

A fascinating insight into the busy-ness of sheep farmers! Lots of lambs and sheep to see. In our 2 hour visit we saw several lambs being born, which I wasn't necessarily expecting (although hoping to witness at least one!)

Lovely well run and organised farm for the kids to come and see the lambs and calves. Plenty of parking and really friendly staff who are happy to explain things and answer questions. Lots of stations to wash hands and a big cafe to have a cup of tea, coffee and cake at when you've finished. Highly recommended.

Really lovely Easter Sunday treat. Adults only session. We saw 2 ewes give birth. Stroked lots of lambs. Had lovely cuddles with two of them. All the girls at Coombes farm are so knowledgeable and friendly. Even supplied a hot drink at the end! Wear something warm as can get abit chilly. Thankyou for such an enjoyable experience

Amazing wedding venue, had the most wonderful day, on-site camping for our guests. Huge venue so you can invite everyone. The staff are wonderful and the bar was so reasonable. Couldn't have chosen a more perfect place in the quiet countryside!

I supported 2 ladies for this visit, and they both thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They didn't even let the wet weather dampen their moods. Well worth a visit.

We had such a fun day on the farm. We took our 10 month old son who loved every minute; the sights, sounds and smells of the farm were wonderful. Highly recommended.

A lambing farm in beautiful Sussex. You can sit in one of the pens with the lambs. Only £3 for Adults & £2 for Children so this makes it one of the cheapest ones around. There is a shop with cafe & also an ice cream van.

Fantastic day out, saw lambs being born, Jonas had to help with one birth while we was there, great job. Thank you!
