Everything and more that you need or desire and all served up with knowledgeable and warm welcome. Probably the best Hardware I have been too! I challenge you to not be able to find something in there that you want!

I wish all shops were like Hamfelds! Friendly, helpful owner and staff. They nearly always have what one wants. We are so lucky to have this valuable resource in Henfield.

I am a professional tradesman, and I've been here a few times when I've been short of an odd screw, electrical item, tool etc. but don't have time or inclination to head back to Brighton. They always have what I need on the shelf, and I'm more than happy to pay a small bit extra (compared to chain stores) to support their business as its well stocked and convenient.

It's amazing what you'll find in Hamfelds; I've made some strange requests and not been disappointed yet; from 4"X2" to Bees Wax polish, a mop to a fireguard or a specific size screw, Hamfelds will have you covered.

Access can be tricky, as it's quite full, you might struggle with a pram or a wheelchair. However the staff are fantastic and will certainly help.

How come a local hardware shop stocks 8 tins of Ronseal Wet Rot Hardener and three large DIY chain stores in Burgess Hill I visited last week had none. Furthermore they didn't have have any in stock in their warehouses. Hamfelds is a goldmine with so many items you can't remember you need until you walk down the aisles. Staff are always helpful and like all local businesses will do their best to please.
