I've stayed in one of the cottages, Daflod, twice. It's always been relaxing, beautifully kept and Caren has gone above and beyond what you could expect from a host. The cottage is ideal as a base to explore the area and is within walking distance of the Madryn pub which is an excellent place to get a bite and to have a drink. I would highly recommend Parc Wernol to anyone looking to explore North Wales!

Warmly greeted by Caren when we arrived. We have stayed in one of the cottages before (Siamber) but this was our first time in the new barn conversion, Deri. Everything has been done to such a high spec. The sofas & beds were so comfy. The bath upstairs was fabulous & the shower in the downstairs wet room was one of best we have ever used. Great WiFi & Smart TV. Amazing views from all the windows & the enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs. Perfectly placed for all the fabulous beaches on the Llyn Peninsula. We will be back!

This is truly the most wonderful place. Five generations of my family have stayed here, from my grandparents down to my grandchildren, over the past forty seven years. We have stayed at the farmhouse , Daflod and Siambr. All are beautifully presented and have everything you could need. They each have their own outdoor space and patio furniture for eating al fresco looking out over that wonderful view. There is a lovely walk down to the lake where you can see geese and moorhens. The surrounding countryside is so beautiful, country lanes filled with Fox gloves, honeysuckle and corn flowers. We spotted bats, owls and a buzzard on an evening walk. You are not too far away from Porthmadog and pwhelli, and criccieth has a petrol station with a good little shop selling wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables. There’s also Castle fish and chips there by Criccieth castle, the best!!! I cannot recommend this holiday enough. It’s beautifully kept , the beds are the comfiest I’ve ever had on holiday. Catherine and Caren are marvellous hosts. We stayed in May and are returning in August we love it that much.

With so many places to visit in the world we rarely go back to the same place twice, but the cottages here have brought us back three times now. The Deri in particular is just beautiful, starting with the gorgeous two story entrance giving way to the modern yet homely open plan ground floor. The remainder of the cottage being thoughtfully decorated and very well appointed throughout. The location is simply idyllic; spectacular countryside and sea views from the cottages and so many more to explore further on foot. The owners are so friendly and very helpful, can't go wrong getting away for break here. We'll definitely be back again!

We have been holidaying at Parc Wernol for a few years, it’s the most beautiful location for a peaceful holiday. The cottage is comfy and well appointed with fabulous views. Handy for Criccieth, Porthmadog and Pwllheli with lots to do to make your holiday perfect.

Stayed in cottages adjacent to the caravan park. Comfortable, well equipped. Internet access slow and sometimes intermittent. A narrow lane makes access a little tricky and the site is about four miles from the beach and town. Benefit is that it's nice and quiet and has magnificent views to Harlech Bay.

Just spent a wonderful week in a cottage here. We have been coming every year for the last decade or more, and it keeps getting better! Highly recommended and we are returning of course in the autumn.

We wish we were back in the lovely Deri cottage again! We were very lucky and honoured to be the first family to stay in their latest barn conversion. Absolutely stunning, decorated to a high standard, cosy and comfortable. All the mod cons too. Highly recommend it.
Great location, amazing scenery. Catherine and Caren are so lovely and so helpful. Thank you. We will be back! ❤

Loved the park the views were amazing!! We could see Snowdonia from our cottage. The people were lovely, the family was very helpful. The location was fantastic just a small drive to Pwllheli, Criccieth, Porthmadog and Abersoch. A great place for the family, plenty to do. I can't wait to visit again at the end of the summer!!

My girlfriend and I have enjoyed two absolutely wonderful stays at Parc Wernol.

The panoramic views across Cardigan Bay towards Harlech are genuinely amongst the most beautiful we've seen anywhere in the UK and the cottages are finished to an exceptionally high standard.

We particularly enjoyed a day trip to the famous Ty Coch pub at Nefyn and the cottages are perfectly situated to explore this stunning corner of Wales.

The hosts were wonderful and we will certainly be back again.

I've been lucky enough to be holidaying at Wernol caravan park from being a small child through to being an adult and taking my young family on holiday there. We absolutely love it, it's the perfect place to escape and switch off. The location is ideal with beaches (black rock being our fave), golf courses, castles, farm parks, outstanding restaurants, cadwalders (simply the best ice cream), fun fairs all within easy reach. The site itself is superb, with nicely landscaped gardens and beautiful scenery over to the mountains and sea. There's a games room for kids, a play park and a football/basketball area. A fishing lake and walks aplenty. Catherine and her family have been only too helpful when we've been there and are lovely to deal with. We would highly recommend this site and Costa del Chwilog.

We have become regulars at Wernol over the last few years and have always been made to feel very welcome. Catherine and Caren are always on hand to give a friendly helping hand if you need them, the site is very well maintained and has a very relaxing atmosphere. There is a good range of accommodation on offer from a caravan to farmhouse. It is a very good base for walking and there are plenty of them to keep you busy, they even have their own fishing lake on site. The location is approximately 1 mile from the village of chwilog where you will find a pub, general store and a butchers shop. For the larger stores you will have to visit Pwllheli (Asda) and Porthmadog (Tesco), you will also find a very good selection of independent retailers in between that hold many surprises. The park is dog friendly but don't forget it is also a working farm so keeping your dog under control around the park is important.
I can't believe I am writing this review because I would really like to keep this little gem a secret, but I think that all the hard work they have put into making the Park better year on year deserves the recognition.
