Wonderful afternoon at Portmerion. Beautiful architecture really enjoyed exploring the different parts. Lots of places to sit and relax. Plenty of cafes but the usual inflated prices one would expect from a tourist attraction. Portmeirion was created by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1976 to show how a naturally beautiful site could be developed without spoiling it. Portmeirion village and gardens is one of Wales' premier visitor attractions, welcoming over 200,000 visitors every year. It opens at 9:30 and shuts at 5:30. Only residents can stay inside. Adult £20 Seniors £16 kids 5-15 cost £12 there are various family options as well. Parking is free.

We've been a few times but just started staying in our campervan. The place is amazing and a totally different place at night, it's really quiet and feels like you have the town and beach to yourself. All the staff are lovely and really helpful. We're definitely going again.
