A nice, chilled & friendly hobby shop with a staggering array of kits and scenic pieces, easily the biggest selection I've found in in North Wales.

Wonderful shop if you're into the hobby. Brilliant guy to chat to about techniques and advice. There's is a very cool and large miniature display of the battle of rourkes drift. Highly recommend if you like historical minis.

Good model shop but the real prize is the recreation of the Battle of Rorkes Drift in the middle of the shop. Worth driving miles to see :). Absolutely amazing!

Each time i visit porthmadog i always visit the model shop, i chat with owners i can spend hours in there, great place different range of models including block models similar to lego just fantastic what ever your interest is from wargaming an warhammer to normal kits and diecast vehicals an always a great display in the centre.

Love this place. Absolutely brilliant, especially the Rorkes Drift display, which inspired and encouraged me to continue painting my own miniatures.

Huge array of all scales of models, plans trains n automobiles and a whole lot more, from a good selection of manufacturers, impressive centre diorama 28mm of the Battle of Roukes Drift. Sadly these shops are few and far between these days, especially with the demise of model making/crafting. Well worth the visit again and recommend a visit if you’re in the area or nearby. Keep it up please

Brilliant selection of models. The owner was more than happy to help with selection and any information about certain models. Also out of season will open the shop by appointment. I'm no expert but was looking for a project for a dying man, he didn't complete it but the person that did thoroughly enjoyed it and the end result was impressive. Fyi it was the light up titanic - well worth the money.

It had been a couple of years since I had been able to make a visit to this wonderful shop! (Due to you know what!) I was pleasantly surprised that it had not lost any of it's charm and friendly atmosphere. Also that the vast and varied selection of stock was not diminished! Highly recommended!

This is the best model shop I have ever visited. This is the 2nd year I have visited the store whilst on holiday and both times I have been hugely impressed. There is a selection of plastic kits (cars, planes, boats etc), paints and scenery. The best bit of this store however is it’s selection of 1/72 plastic figures. The selection rivals the biggest model websites in the UK and most prices match those online (a few are even cheaper than online). On both visits I have managed to find out of production sets. The shop is easy to find and there is parking nearby. This shop will be a regular destination for me whilst holidaying in North Wales.

It's an honour to be the first to write a review of this fabulous shop. It is without question the best model shop in Wales, and I've yet to find anything as good elsewhere in Britain. I'm an old fashioned war gamer and their stock of 20mm figures is exemplary, they always have what I'm looking for. There's plenty of other stuff. kits, 28mm figures and all sorts of other goodies. Service is always excellent. One of my favourite places!
August 2022 still awesome, their best seller this summer has been blox (it's like lego soldiers).

Best model shop I've found in a long time. Excellent range of models of all categories and even have quirky models. Just brilliant the service is also excellent. Hope to be in again soon on my next holiday. So happy to see this shop surived the RONA!

Excellent little model shop. Tidy, well organised, friendly and great stock of the modelling staples (paint, glue, tools and materials). Definitely worth a visit if in the area.
