I was served by Iona, who was exceedingly busy but took the time to make sure my student and I had everything that we needed. This kind of service in desperate demand, even though she was busy, she took that little extra time to make sure my neuro divergent student felt welcome and was catered to. Top service!
The food was excellent, it came out quickly was wonderfully presented, and if I'm in South Brent again, I'll make sure to visit for a wedge of cake!

What a lovely place, with friendly welcoming staff.
The coffee was beautiful and even though I didn't have a cake there was a big selection.
Very relaxed atmosphere with nice comfortable seating.
I will definitely return, might even have a cake next time 😋

Popped into the cafe for a bite to eat and a rest after a long walk all round the food was very good, the staff were cheerful and very efficient which made the whole thing very enjoyable atmosphere. I will certinally be passing this establishment on to my friends, as an excellent place for a stop over, a well deserved 5 star experience.

I stumbled across this little gem of a eatery owing to a decision to turn right out of a random car park in the Moors rather than the traditional left and ended up in South Brent... I totes lucked in!.

Capitalising on my spontaneity, success and leaving the trusty mutt Margot in the ever faithful land rover Felicity, we - the amazeballs trusty better half and I - joined what was a busy restaurant with a remarkable menu at a fantastic price.

Despite being busy, the food was well presented, delicious and served with a smile.

The tea - served in proper china tea pot and 'pinky out' cups was a lovely touch and made the quaint cafe/diner a great find. All In all, a great eating experience in a fantastic venue run by a friendly team. Definitely recommend.

After being totally let down by another local hotel we went to The Station House and we are very glad we did. Richard was absolutely brilliant, found us a lovely spacious room to get ready for the wedding and even offered to collect us from the venue if we needed. The food was fab and the homemade pizzas were great. We arrived on quiz night which we were welcomed to join and it was great fun! so if you are in the area we definitely recommend a night of quizzing with Richard. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Good value for money.

Stayed at station hotel after being let down by another local hotel.
Lovely lady Clare was very helpful and understanding.
Room perfect for what we needed, continental breakfast was great and cooked breakfast available from cafe downstairs.
This hotel is dog friendly with a small charge.
I recommend to anyone who is wanting to stay in that area.
Thanks again for fitting us in at such short notice.

A friend suggested this place for an afternoon meet up. It's charming! The lady serving was very nice and friendly and we were able to catch some gorgeous afternoon sun outside. They have plenty of tables for when the weather is good. There were choices for everything, tea, coffee, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, cakes and food. I hope to visit here again.

This is the most heavenly cafe/bar in the heart of South Brent. It used to be part of the train station so has lots of period features and some memorabilia. It is tastfully decorated in a warm and welcoming style. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food really delicious. I had a tuna melt panini which was excellent and my parents had the veggie breakfast which also looked hearty and generous. The menu had a huge variety of choices, definitely something for everyone. I was taking my parents on house viewings in the area which they were nervous about....the lovely atmosphere in this cafe really calmed them down. Highly recommend.

A cafe/restaurant in a nice location, seemed to have a good reputation with the locals, A lovely relaxed atmosphere to have lunch, I had the quiche with roasted potatoes, was reasonably priced and delicious. Friendly staff and dog friendly too!

I had a 2 night stay at the Station House Hotel and had a really lovely break there. I stayed in the Brent room which was perfect and very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and gave me a great sleep. There was a well stocked fridge in the room and tea and coffee was provided and you could get a good breakfast in the cafe downstairs. The shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. The owner was really helpful and friendly too, I would definitely stay here again if I came back.

Came across this beautiful tearoom when passing through the village looking for something to eat and drink. We were not disappointed. The owner and staff were very friendly and the food and drink was great. Presentation was excellent, very quirky! It is much bigger than it looks from the outside with lots of table and chairs or big comfy sofas. We will definitely return when down that way again.

Had a 2 night stay in the loddiswell room in this cosy cafe with rooms. Our room was super comfy and well stocked fridge, the facilities were excellent as a ‘guest only’ area is available with extra tea making facilities and a pool table etc.
Smart TV in our room and a great shower.
Breakfast in the cafe is definitely recommended if you enjoy good quality no frills food. Richard and the team have been very friendly, there’s a free car park very nearby in this lovely village. We’ve very much enjoyed our stay x
