Thank you to Chris Bowers for the fantastic bushes that we received! Gemma was extremely helpful and arranged a courier to deliver for the specific day we needed them. The bushes arrived really quickly and are a lovely big size (approx 40cm high) with really developed roots. Super happy, thank you!

I will add an update once the trees have fruited, but the ones I ordered were the best packaged I have ever seen. They were securely wrapped and surrounded by straw.

I ordered a couple of bare root walnut trees and they came in good time and in good condition. Planted straight away and although this horrible weather did it's best to kill them off with an unseasonably bitter northerly wind. They're doing well. Even had a nice email off them asking if I was happy with them. I have read some other people's reviews but my experience was positive and would buy again... thanks

Great online selection and easy to order. I got the patio selection of 10 fruit trees and they arrived in excellent condition, well packed and labelled. Since planting (2 weeks ago) trees look good and look forward to them growin on over the next year.

very happy with my greengage. It’s settling in nicely on my allotment and putting out new leaves. It was really well packaged and the communication about delivery was excellent.
I’m particularly pleased with the balanced shape and symmetry of the tree. Looking forward to a good harvest in a few years.

I bought a tree from Chris Bowers Nursery. I wasn’t sure what tree to buy and Chris and John were very helpful with advise. They sipped the tree on the right time for planting and very well packaged (environmental friendly too). This is belated feedback for two trees I ordered from Chris Bowers about 2 1/2 years ago. I bought an apple and a pear and at the time was a little nervous about what to expect because online reviews for the company at the time were fairly poor.

However, the trees arrived safely and in good condition a few weeks later, and they are now doing really well and started fruiting this autumn. I’ve seen some other reviews from people who did not receive the variety they were expecting, but in my case I’m pretty sure that I got exactly what I ordered.

I recently ordered two more apple trees which were also well packaged and clearly labelled. I planted them a couple of weeks ago and am confident they will do as well as the previous ones. I had a follow up email a few days ago checking that everything arrived as expected and offering advice if I needed it. Fantastic service and at a very good price!

I wanted to purchase raspberries, strawberries and apple trees for my garden. I was very impressed by the information available on the website about the different types of trees they offer, the different rootstock options and the price was excellent too. I saw a few bad reviews (mostly about issues with delivery) so I contacted Chris via email to check everything was in stock. I ordered x3 types of varieties of strawberries and xx different apple trees for cordon growing. The raspberries I wanted were unfortunately out of stock. I was very impressed by how fast Chris and his team answered by emails and were very helpful with answering all my questions. I placed my order and it arrived less than 5 days later which was impressive. All packaging was eco friendly. The trees were in great condition, bare root and ready to go in the ground. The strawberries at first look a bit worse for wear, but had great roots on them. I popped them into some compost and within a week had plentiful of new shoots. I was very impressed as I didnt lose a single strawberry and they were very substanical plants (much better roots than what you great for same price at garden centre). Overall, I was worried by a few bad reviews, however from my experience I cannot recommend Chris Bowers and Sons more highly! From grea website info, great prices, excellent customer services and above all, fantastic plants! I absolutely recommend.

This was the first time I’d purchased from Chris Bowers and the whole process was straightforward. I received valuable advice on the suitability of the trees I’d chosen and there was excellent communication throughout the whole order process. Delivery was prompt and the quality of the trees looks good.

We ordered a Red Falstaff apple tree. It was shipped quickly and packaged with great care, with good communication provided. High quality of plant which is now growing strongly. After-sales care and support from Chris Bowers to ensure that all was well and offering advice and support. Highly recommended.

Very happy with my two fruit trees. They came in about a week and are much more solid and taller than I expected given the price.
From what I've seen they are 1/2 to 2/3 the price in my local garden centres plus of course you can choose the exact variety and rootstock whereas it's pot luck in a gc.
Fair enough for a shrub or pot plant but for something like a fruit tree you will likely want something very specific which is how I stumbled on CB when looking for what I wanted.

This nursery really cares about trees and even after sale, they want to make sure the trees have found a caring home. I ordered four fruit trees and they arrived in excellent condition. I received follow on emails about the trees and their final home. Very grateful for the service and I highly recommend this nursery if you want super quality fruit trees

Really good service and sales. Fabulous selection of trees available at good prices. Help with choices and speedy delivery of excellent quality bare root plants. Very well packaged with straw in large degradable bags. Instructions enclosed and always available from website or calls. Great follow up service offered. Highly recommend.

The delivery of trees happened while we were away at Christmas but they were very well packaged and a couple of days delay in planting will not affect them I hope.

They were all very good plants with excellent root growth and the gage was properly fan trained. I'm very pleased with them and the service provided.

Ordered 11 fruit trees, all arrived well packed and in good condition. A slight issue with my order was resolved amazingly quickly, especially given that I emailed about it on Christmas eve - was resolved by the 28th (today). Fantastic service, everything looks good, and cannot wait for spring!

I ordered an apple tree from them. The service was great, it arrived within a week and was packaged beautifully so that the tree was in first class condition. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful, I'd highly recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them in future.

We placed four different orders and every time the trees had robust root systems, looked very healthy, were well structured, and were carefully packaged before shipping. Add to this excellent customer service. We will buy from them again.

I purchased 4 cider apple saplings ( early April), as I've acquired an allotment which allows modest trees. 2 Somerset Red streaks a Michelin and a Major. I picked them up Tuesday lunchtime, by Tuesday evening they were planted with a generous drop of water. Friday I visited the allotment and already green leaves are appearing. £100 I paid and I am Very happy with my purchase. Watch this space because in 3 to 4 years I hope to add....."HIC".

Really excellent and helpful company. Answered loads of questions I asked via email before I'd even ordered (and didn't push sales). When I eventually did order they were helpful in amending my order as I'd made a few mistakes. I was anxious as I'd seen the negative reviews but all my plants (Mulberry, gooseberry, cherry and hazel) all arrived today (Nov 23) packaged well, labelled and in good health. Good communication from company and I will be happy to order from them again.

Shame to see they've managed to get such bad reviews in the past but hopefully they've turned things around and I certainly had a very positive experience.

We had a lovely peach tree delivered well packaged and in good time. The bareroot tree was in great health and has since flourished.
