The Dice Box

We recently went to the Dice Box as a family and absolutely loved it. Loved the combo of a cafe and trying out new games. The staff were great, especially Brandon who was so helpful with guiding us through one game. He even worked through his lunch to help us! Thank you.

The team are friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of games to try and there is a small selection of items to purchase. We love coming here with our friends but you do have to book in advance to ensure you get a table. The online booking system is easy to use and reasonably priced. The food and drink available is delicious and there is lots of choice!

Had a brilliant day at the dice box, celebrating my hen do, what an amazing day everyone had something to play, the staff were so helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious and really good portion sized. I will definitely be going back and recommending this to everyone 😊.

Great board gaming cafe with a huge range of games you can play for per hour table rental cost.
Upstairs there is a more expensive, but well worth it, private hire room with proper sunken board gaming table with integrated colour selected LEDs, a Bluetooth speaker, private bathroom and a bell to ring for food & drinks service

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Excellent selection of games that will suit any game night. The easy, comfortable atmosphere in the venue allowed me and my friends to have a very enjoyable evening. We will definitely be back!

We had a great birthday party here. The staff were very helpful, introducing us to all kinds of games that I'd never heard of before but that were tailored to our interests. We laughed so much! The games we chose were great fun, simple and helped everyone get to know each other.
I've been here many times and have tried the herbal teas, pretzels and falafels. Would recommend all of those, especially the baked apple tea! The pretzels come warm and are a real taste of the USA!
Because the cafe is small, it feels quiet and relaxed even when it is full. You'll get personal attention from the staff and all you have to do is enjoy discovering some new games with your friends. A great environment for any kind of occasion or just a nice afternoon out.

Friendly and helpful staff who helped recommend some fun boardgames to us. There was a wide selection of smoothies and milkshakes, making our time all the more enjoyable!

Seriously just go, you won't be disappointed, food is great, service is great, drinks are great, something like 700 board games to choose from and the staff know their stuff. Also note wheelchair accessible and budget friendly.

The perfect alternative way to spend an evening! A huge selection of games, attentive and knowledgeable staff members, plus a friendly atmosphere. Good range of food and beverages. Situated just outside the centre of town.

Great board game cafe, time always goes way too quickly.
The new location has a lot more space, parking is slightly less convenient but Bath Place car park just around the corner which isn't too expensive.

The dice box is a great place to hang out with friends and have laughs while you play different games. It is suitable for all ages, and people with all kind of board games expertise. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and will guide you through the start of the game, rules, set up, recommendations, etc. Allowing you to have a worry free introduction to new games. The food complements perfectly with the casual & fun atmosphere.

Such a great place, even if you're not into board games! The staff are friendly and very welcoming. They'll even help to teach the games to you. The food and drink is reasonably priced and tastes great. They have gluten-free options too, and always have a good range of cakes. With a varied rota of themed nights, including social gaming, there's something for everyone. A real gem!

My wife and I have been here twice and have enjoyed ourselves both times. There is an extensive range of board games, and the staff are great at helping you choose based on what your tastes are and how much time you want to spend in there. After visiting here, we've even gone on ebay to buy some of the games we've played there so we can introduce them to the whole family. The waiting time for food and drinks was reasonable and although the food isn't Michelin Star standard, I wouldn't expect it to be for this type of venue and it's good value for money. They don't tend to stock the more popular/generic board games, but in a way I like that because it encourages you to try something new. The place is clean and tidy and has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend.

Love this place. Just what Leamington needs. Great selection and the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful about the games. Great coffee and cakes too!
