The Crown @ Elsenham

What an excellent pub!
We visited yesterday afternoon for some lunch. All of the staff were so helpful and welcoming and the food was absoloutely delicious. I would highly recommend The Crown. There is ample seating, a lovely outside area and a spacious car park.

Really looking forward to coming back again soon.

Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, and reasonably priced food. The portion sizes were very generous (so definitely good value for money). I had the calamari for my starter which was beautifully presented. The prawn linguine was my main, I just wish there was a sauce to go with the pasta. Thank you for the brilliant customer service ☺

Recently moved here with my fiancé and have been here twice - once on our own and another time with my brother + dad. Great place to get some food and a drink - atmosphere indoors and outdoors is great also. I checked online and saw that they'll have some vegan / non-dairy options. Cannot wait!

My partner and I had a great evening at The Crown. The service from the waitress Sophie was first class, highly attentive and very friendly and professional. The food was absolutely delicious and great value for money. The atmosphere tonight was great - all in all a great experience, and look forward to going back to work my way through most of the menu 😊 Thanks for a very lovely evening

Had a Christmas meal, the food was amazing, best Yorkshire pudding I've ever tasted. Service was excellent. If your after excellent food and a lovely atmosphere don't hesitate you must go

Nice pub to pop in for lunch, we just went in by chance.
Sat outside in the blazing sun.

Staff were attentive, friendly and made you feel very welcome

We had sandwiches, and these were exactly what we needed.
They were propa door step ones with the filling skulking out of them.
Served with crisps and coleslaw.

You could've tell all fresh ingredients and made to order

Will be visiting again

Ladies Xmas Dinner! Had a fabulous prawn cocktail starter and Roast Turkey with all the trimmings. Plenty of meat and veg and a tasty big Yorkshire pudding to add! Great atmosphere and service. Thank you

I wasn’t even a guest there(my hotel was a ways down the road and it was super late), but they helped me call a cab and gave me a refill (of tea) on the house. The staff were all very sweet and understanding.

Had a lovely evening diner at the Crown. We were warmly welcomed and the food and beers were of great quality. We even could try the beer before ordering. The place is very nice and cosy. Thanks for having us there.

A lovely peaceful atmosphere to rest. A stunning pork roast dinner with perfectly cooked potatoes veg and Yorkshire pudding. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Myself an 10 others came for food & drink last night, the food & service was superb. We had a great time and we will definitely be back again soon. A big thank you to all the staff for catering for us last night, highly recommend anyone coming to visit The Crown! Also a huge thank you to the restaurant manager, she was looking after us all evening!

Fantastic Spot to sit in the sun and enjoy a nice pint. Food was fantastic (burger was amazing) and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

We met friends for lunch here and had a really lovely time. Food was great, good size portions and reasonably priced. They also has an extensive range of gluten free options which was helpful for us. Really warm welcome when we arrived and great service from all the staff. We will back!
