England Shelve Farmhouse

This is a great cottage and we highly recommend. It is spacious, very well appointed, comfortable and in a good location for visiting the area. Easy access to the Stiperstones ridge, Long Mynd and Ludlow plus walks from the door (Adstone hill). There are two small outdoor areas - both sun traps and with fabulous views towards the hills. The kitchen is well equipped. The owners have thought of every thing for a very comfortable stay. Thank you George and Victoria.

A fabulous roomy farmhouse, 4 large en suite double bedrooms. Well equipped and in a lovely rural location. Great area for walking and 2 or 3 pubs in walking distance.. Seven friends had a fabulous 4 day stay, the weather was also wonderful which obviously helped. Excellrnt hosts. Definitely on my list for a return visit

Well maintained and comfortable farmhouse in a beautiful location, fabulous walks in the remote Shropshire countryside from the door. Perfect for two families, we had a great trip. Photos from a walk over the Long Mynd, an hour's walk from the house or a short drive away.

Picked location for family cycling on the Long Mynd and worked out well as we set off from front door each day. Lots of hot water for baths which was essential. Did not eat in much as used the White Horse at Pulverbatch but kitchen was huge. Thanks to owners for help with maps.

Stayed here as part of a group of 8. Lovely house, very comfortable well equipped. Good hosts live next door. Amazing stunning views over the Long Mynd. Only drawback was rather remote but plenty of places to visit in the area

Lovely stay, beautiful place. George is a lovely host. Pet friendly and lovely walks near by.

The setting is wonderful and peaceful. However, dealings with the owner after our stay over our deposit have left a very bad taste. It was petty given the amount we have paid for our stay, showing little regard for our customer satisfaction. Such a shame!

My recent experience at England Shelve Farmhouse was far from satisfactory. From the beginning, it was evident that this place lacks the basic standards of hospitality.

The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The linen was dirty, and I questioned whether it had been changed at all before my arrival. Dealing with such a fundamental issue significantly impacted the comfort of my stay.

Adding to the frustration was the host, Victoria. Her rude and unprofessional attitude was consistently disappointing. Every interaction felt like an inconvenience, and her lack of courtesy left a lasting negative impression.

I strongly caution anyone considering a stay at England Shelve Farmhouse. Dirty linen and a host like Victoria, with an apparent disregard for common courtesy, make for an experience that falls far below acceptable standards.
