The Kings Arms is such a lovely, historic pub.
Service is friendly and the Joules ales snd food are excellent.
Food portion sizes are huge, and every element of the dish is fresh and tasty.
We had gammon, fish and chips, pies and chips and Shropshire blue mushrooms on toast snd every dish was delicious.

Used to come here every week when we lived next door. This is the first time visiting in years. Amazing what they have done to it, lots more seats and space now. I've never had food here before so tried the fish and chips, they were lovely and came really quick. The staff were friendly, there were two dogs there, so well behaved. Definitely come back again.

Last Food order on a Sunday is 3:45pm (at least when I was there).

Having parked round the corner in the local car park we had a very warm welcome by the staff. Our 10 month baby enjoyed a clean high chair while the dog tucked into his ice cream. Local ales were good and food was tasty. Thank you to the ladies who waited on our table & made the experience so pleasant.

Lovely pub with a wonderful warm welcome with every visit. Lovely friendly staff with great food and the lovely fire is always a welcome sight.

Unfortunately for others, our dog is very nervous about others, and it can be a problem when out. We said this when we booked, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and understanding.
We were given a table in the corner, and the staff approached with care. The food was excellent, and portion size was a little large for us, but the dog enjoyed the leftovers. Very relaxed atmosphere and comfortable with very professional staff.

Great steak and ale pie, massive desserts for the price, reasonably priced drinks. What more do you need?

Celebrated St George's Day lunch here with my son. He had Fish and Chips, I had the smaller plate. First class, as always. Very good portions; fresh food; lovely, helpful staff; good value and a superb glass of Blonde. Already looking forward to my next visit. 😊

A very welcoming pub called in on a whim and accommodated us no problems. Excellent food and very generous portions! Nice selection of beers on tap. Great atmosphere with a lovely beer garden at the rear. Definitely recommend

This is a gem of a place. The staff are very friendly and appear happy in there job. The service is of a high standard and the food order was very quick. The choice for vegetarians is the best in Church Stretton and of a very high quality.
We will most definitely be coming here again when we next visit

Had a lovely meal and the two dogs were welcome too. I had the minted lamb burger. Delicious. My partner had a pasta bake. She loved it. Very nice pub. Recommend it.

Cosy little pub serving great ales and food. The minted lamb burger was incredible.

Came for food, had jkt potato with beans and cheese and a sausage and onion baguette with chunky cheesey chips.
Pub has a lovely, cosy atmosphere. And the food literally blew my mind!! I would definitely consider driving the 45 minute journey for this again!!

Lovely old joules pub in church Stretton. Serves the usual joules ales. Cosy place to have a drink or a bite to eat. Gorgeous historic building. Shows the sports and has a room upstairs showing it on big screen. Also extra seating at rear for food. Recommended 🍻

Popped in with my wife for a couple of nice cold beers after a good walk. Good atmosphere inside and a lovely secluded beer garden at the rear.

The best pub food in the area. I always choose from the specials board when I come here as there is often so much choice. Will definitely return on many occasions in the future. Great staff too. Good experience all around!

A 'proper' traditional pub with a small selection of fantastic beer, great service, roaring fire, and although we didn't eat there the food smelled wonderful. Muddy walker and dog friendly!
