Superb B&B in the stunning Shropshire Hills. Ideal to use as a base for a walking holiday. Lovely rooms, fab breakfast and lovely friendly hosts. Plus a self-serve bar and really nice lounge.

Great place to stay with lots of little touches including a lounge with bar.
Breakfast was lovely. Hosts discrete but available if required.
Walking options endless so no need for a car once you are there. 2 local pubs 2 mins and 6 mins walk away.
Couldn't recommend Mynd House more.

Fantastic Bed and Breakfast, the owners are first class and nothing is too much trouble, breakfast is delicious and the service is superb. Rooms lovely and clean as all areas of the accommodation are, plenty of great walks and places to visit. It really is a little gem and would highly recommend a visit

Perfect base to explore the beautiful Shropshire hills and surrounding areas. Two great pubs within walking distance. Quiet spacious rooms with very comfortable beds and tasteful modern bathrooms. Wi-Fi worked well, breakfast was excellent and there is a nice cosy lounge and bar to relax in after a days walking. Highly recommended

Staff were so lovely and attentive. Breakfast was brilliant. Special thanks to Liz for helping when my mum had a migraine, going out of her way to get some ice! Rooms were spotless and had a lovely choice of teas, coffees and biscuits!

What an mazing B&B experience. Liz and Jeff greeted us as if we were old friends, very friendly and welcoming. The property has bags of charm and style and our room was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely, and we can't fault this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing one night stay so much that we are already planning a return visit.

My wife and I stayed a few days at the Mynd House near the end of October 2021.
It was a wonderful stay. The house and service could not be faulted in any way. The house itself was so special, as was the room. Not to be forgotten was the two gastro pubs in the village. We visit the Mynd quite often and will try to stay in this place again

This is a lovely B&B in a fantastic setting with beautiful views. The host is very friendly, and so helpful (as are her staff).
There are some amazing walks, right on the door step.
I can highly recommend Mynd House, giving it a full five stars!

I stayed at Mynd House for 2 nights last week and it was absolutely brilliant. The owners Liz and Jeff are lovely friendly people , and made me feel very welcome. I arrived very late in the evening , well past my scheduled arrival time due to a road closure on the M40 , but it didn't cause any problem to them at all ! The rooms are immaculately prepared, very clean and nice ensuite bathroom. There were bottles of water in the room, fresh milk in the fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was superb , I had the full English , but there was an alternative continental style breakfast of fruit , cereal and juice if preferred. They make running this bed and breakfast look effortless, but I'm sure behind the scenes they work very hard indeed to achieve these standards. I've stayed in the best luxury hotels all over the world , and this bed and breakfast compares very favourably with these 5 star hotels.I would thoroughly recommend staying here, and will definitely return.

What a find.
Perfect location for visiting places near by. Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, much Wenlock and Ludlow. Set in the beautiful Shropshire Hills. Two great pubs in the village that both serve great food. Very reasonably priced and the rooms spotless.
Breakfast has a good amount of options and very well cooked.
Thanks liz and Jeff

We were a group of cyclists, staying overnight in Little Stretton. Liz welcomed us, stored our bikes in a locked room and showed us to four excellent rooms. The service was superb, the choice at breakfast was excellent and the cooking lovely. Two pubs close by. We visited the Green Dragon and the food and drink was good. Highly recommended B&B.

Liz has a great personality for running a B&B: friendly, helpful, and takes an interest in her guests. As for Mynd House itself, it was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast as very good. I highly recommend it.

Stayed here at a weekend as a base for walking the Shropshire hills, especially the Long Mynd. Liz & Jeff are the owners of the B&B, and are very welcoming. Our room (twin) was roomy with an en suite bathroom, and was spotless. The full English breakfast was excellent, and toast kept coming. The car park is elevated and best approached from the south to avoid a tight bend when entering from the other direction.

What a lovely b&b perched on a hill and full of character our room was great. I had a very comfortable night's sleep and the hosts couldn't do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. Would definitely visit again!

It's clean, well organised, good location. They employ a high covid cleaning routine. Breakfast was fine. Timings staggered re covid. I'm a curvy overweight person and personnally found mattress a little hard. They use local produce very tasty. For me bacon was salty, others fine about it. The sausage was good as was eggs.

Well set up for walkers (they have a tray to put boots in). Helpful staff (they happily changed out duvet when we got too hot the first night, and booked us a restaurant for our first night, as it was going to be busy). Attractively decorated and clean.

They have a little bar (they will serve drinks) and lounge area with OS maps and books (we used the wildflower reference).

The area is lovely. Our room had a hill view. The walk up the road to Church Stretton (mostly pavement) was also attractive. The Woods around were filled with bluebells. There are hills on both sides of the valley for walking or cycling (Long Mynd and Ragleth hill). The valleys up onto the Mynd are nice, but I think the slightly smaller and steeper hills to the East (Ragleth) have better views.

The breakfast was good (poached egg, orange juice), but not perfect (the bacon was not crispy, and the sausages were not top quality).

The WiFi included mostly worked, but did drop now and again because of the week signal.
