I needed hydrotherapy for my young dog due to possible dysplasia in both hips. And I’m so pleased I found Paws2Water! The difference in Sandy is nothing short of amazing! The love Lucy shows my dog is so lovely. Her experience and knowledge of how to help Sandy and supporting her to build muscle around her dodgy joints makes the whole experience so stress-free!!!

I would highly recommend Paws2Water!

Highly recommended. A lovely company that treats your dogs like part of the family and really listen to individual needs. The facility is great, with a private space for your appointment and kind, knowledgeable staff. My collie is 15 and isn't very confident/happy in water - they have helped build her confidence in a safe way so she isn't worried and always spoil her during her session. She's making great progress! Thank you to Lucy and the team for helping her be more comfortable and improve her quality of life as an older pup x

Friendly, knowledgeable staff who obviously care about what they do and know their stuff! Everything is clean and well thought out so that dogs are put at ease. I’d never tried hydrotherapy before but it’s really helped my dog’s joints and he’s springing around like a puppy again! Thank you 🙏🏽

I am blessed to have a fit, fast, feisty canine athlete, and I'd like to keep her that way for as long as possible. Ceri and all the team at Paws2Water have been part of Windy's team for the last couple of years and, in that team, we have reached the highest level of agility in the country and Windy has developed more muscle, more power, and even decided that she likes the water after years of avoiding it.
The team are always available if I need to juggle our sessions to fit in with our training and competition commitments and, most importantly, they always treat my Windy like a Princess! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paws2Water if your dog needs to work on their fitness, or you just want to keep them happy and healthy.

Nala our french mastiff was a very nervous girl when she first came to paws2water, but the staff were absolutely brilliant with her & made her feel at ease, slowly introducing her not making her feel pressured into doing too much too soon, after many Saturday sessions now we only have to say to her 'are we going to hydro' and shes bouncing around the house! She loves her sessions & they are really helping her back legs improve, we can only thank the staff for their continued help each week in making that happen.

Ceri is the most personable, professional and caring person and Paws2Water was a phenomenal experience for us and our old boy Roman. He had over 50 sessions and loved every single one!
He initially went in for treatment as a result of hip dysplasia and arthritis, the graduated exercise he received there kept him mobile (in conjunction with the appropriate medication.)
Sadly, we lost Roman at the start of this year but we will be returning to Paws2Water with our new dog, for exercise and the cuddles!
I'd recommend Paws2Water to ANYONE that loves their dog, you will not be disappointed!

My 12 year old Springer has moderate/severe osteoarthritis and we have recently started at Paws 2 Water (3 sessions in). The staff have been brilliant with him. He can sometimes be quite anxious, but he gets lots of time and patience (not to mention mini massages!) from the ladies and he is settling down nicely.
The treatment centre is in a good location - easy for parking etc and appointment booking and general communication is top notch.

Ian, our English Bulldog has been coming to you guys for now 6 weeks and we have seen huge improvements.
Just before we got referred to you guys we thought we would have to have our beloved Ian put to sleep as his back legs were constantly giving up on him.
He has only been coming a short while and we still have a long way to go but he is able to now bare weight on his legs giving him a better quality of life.
‘Auntie’ Lucy and ‘Auntie’ Tara are just incredible at what they do.
Would highly recommend ❤

Teddy started going to see Ceri at Paws2Water 2 years ago after finding he preferred to use the treadmill rather than a pool for his hydro therapy and since going his mobility has improved so much. He enjoys every minute while there giving all the girls kisses during his sessions! He even gets excited when we pull up in front of the centre and can’t wait to get out of the car! Ceri and her staff are the kindest and most caring people taking the time to keep Teddy comfortable during his time in the tank. They are so knowledgeable when giving advice on future treatments and Teddy adores them all. I have no hesitation in recommending Paws2Water to anyone and thank them for their kindness!

Everyone at paws2water are all amazing. So patient with my dog Ada who is a little shy. She had injured her leg somehow which she was lame on and it was alot smaller than the others. They went at her pace as she wasn't quite getting it at first and now she is smashing it. There is now a massive improvement, no longer lame and both back legs measure the same as 😁 Thank you

Lola has hip dysplasia so we have been coming here for about 18 months and Lola is not a fan of water !Ceri and the team were brilliant with her spending time getting her used to the deep water . Her muscle mass has increased and she now gets so excited when we walk in .She even gets the odd treat for good behaviour! Love this place !

My journey started at Paws 2 Water over 12 months ago.
Gromit had to have TPLO surgery and quite an intensive recovery period. After having seen the benefits of alternative therapy in Horses 🐎 I looked into what would be beneficial to him.
I first enquired about hydrotherapy with the vets after his operation, they didn’t initially instigate him having hydrotherapy. So my first piece of advice is make sure you ask your Vets don’t expect them to suggest it. Small Animal vets haven’t caught up with the equine vets in working with alternative therapy.

Gromit was not and still isn’t a major fan of water, that is putting it lightly. However from the moment that he stepped foot in Paws 2 Water he was put at ease. With gentle persuasion he has got on with the task In hand.
He had lost a lot of muscle on the hind leg which was operated on this was slowly built back up with the help of hydrotherapy. When he had his first operation I was warned that he may well need to have his other hind leg TPLO operated on. About six months down the line he started showing signs that this was going to be the case he was booked in and had his second operation. We kept the hydrotherapy going all the way up to his operation and instead of having to have a weeks off he was able to start back in hydrotherapy after four weeks. (Compared to eight weeks with the first operation ). This was due to the fact that he had managed to maintain his fitness leading up to the operation, this definitely allowed for him to have a faster recovery after his second operation.
People do ask why I have carried on with his weekly sessions.
Gromit is 8 years old and will be susceptible to arthritis in his joints especially those which have been operated on. If I miss a week I do notice he is slightly stiffer.

If and when I get another dog I would definitely use hydrotherapy for my dog just as part of his regular exercise.

The ladies that work in Paws 2 water are superb. They take a real interest in your dog, how they have been in the week. (They also love Gromits antics, think they will be able to write a book on him).
Each session is documented and tailor made specifically to your dog. The length of time, the speed, the amount they do and the exercises they perform.
Thank you

Missy had hydrotherapy in a pool a few years ago when she injured her back leg, and although it did her good, she didn't enjoy swimming.

So, when she was diagnosed with nerve damage in the same leg, the vet recommended the underwater treadmill.

While she still needs some encouragement (treats!), she's much more comfortable than in the pool, and Ceri is fantastic with her.

It's been 6 weeks now and you can really see what a positive impact the sessions are having - no knuckling over, improved stability and strength in leg, increased muscle size, and weight loss. Thank you 🐾

Excellent care for both my dogs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My dogs really benefit from the attention they receive. By way of update since my review was some time ago, the care my dogs receive is still excellent and I wouldn't want to go elsewhere for their treatment.

I started coming here Feb 22 with my old man Kimba. His spine is degrading and he has weakness in his hind legs. Since coming here his mobility has really improved! He is so well cared for and the close monitoring of his muscle mass has really shown huge improvements.
I honestly think this has extended his lifespan and given him the stability for a few more good months/years! Thank you P2W from Sarah, Kimba (And Ava!)xx

Ceri and her team are just the best. Their expertise and care has strengthened and straightened out my dogs spine following her scoliosis diagnosis. Their care and attention is second to none
