Received tickets for my birthday - We flew with Richard on Monday 11th October, we got very lucky with the weather and had a lovely smooth flight over West Sussex. Was so lovely to look down and spot wildlife and wave to people below! Couldn’t fault our experience at all.

We were fortunate that we got a flight our first booking just bare in mind that the weather can be unpredictable - a few on our flight had tried to fly 3/4 times ☺ So worth it in the long run.

Warning: not for anyone who requires a firm fixed schedule. We had an awesome flight on the summer solstice with Justin and team, first time in a hot air balloon and it was just amazing. Being at the mercy of the wind meant we were flying for 90 minutes or so, which we all loved. The views over Buckinghamshire were stunning and worth the wait – we had 2 prior cancellations, I am sure anyone who is flexible and rebooks immediately after each cancellation will get to have a great flight.

Had a really enjoyable flight over East Sussex. This was our 3rd attempt so pleased it happened. Professional crew, informative, fun, a hands on experience. Cant fault it. Thanks for our experience 21st August.

We had an amazing experience yesterday flying with Justin and his crew, from Tring to Stone. It was both our first time in a hot air balloon (and even though I'm not always the best with heights) we enjoyed every minute of it. I couldn't have wished for a better experience. My partner bought this for my birthday over 2 years ago and it was delayed due to covid. Even though the voucher was only for a year, the company were very helpful and extended the voucher to allow for flights to reopen again and make sure it gave us enough time to book during the flying months when everything reopened. Communication by email was good and we had no problems with this. We felt safe and looked after on the flight, and kept well informed of what to do etc. I've seen on here some reviews about many cancelled bookings but that's the nature of this experience, and people should understand that when booking, you have to be flexible. We only had 1 cancelled flight and the next flight we booked in the same month, May 2022, went ahead.

My husband and I had a great balloon flight early on 9th June (yesterday) over London. Fortunately we were able to rebook after our flight was cancelled for the previous morning. The weather was glorious with a light wind blowing in a suitable direction to allow us to take off and enjoy a special experience. Amazing views over London from Hyde Park over the West End, the City of London and the Olympic Park in Stratford. So glad we got to have this experience and use the voucher that was a gift in 2019. Thank you to crew for the flight and dropping us at a nearby underground station after our champagne.

An amazing experience we had this morning! After having to rebook 5 times, due to unsuitable weather conditions, it was worth the wait! We chose East Sussex area, and Gavin, our pilot and his team were brilliant, would fully recommend

Absolutely worth the wait. I felt similar to most of the 1 star reviews whereby you have to wait a long time before the desired conditions for a flight, but that's the joy of the UK! We finally had our flight today and was well worth the wait. Driver was excellent, chatted through the whole process, got us involved and was great fun throughout the flight. Champagne afterwards was a good treat, especially after an early morning! Overall, yes you have to wait and will likely be cancelled a few times, but there is a reason for that, safety, but once it happens it is an amazing experience.

We booked a flight over London in 2017, due to no fault of their own we were unable to take a flight until today. Well I can say it was worth the wait - when do you ever get to see the sights of London in such a truly magical way? Many thanks to our Pilot Kim who kept us on a steady course with the smoothest of landings. Flying over London is so dependent on very specific weather conditions - I'd definitely recommend Adventure Balloons but if you have more fixed dates etc. then maybe a balloon flight just isn't for you.

I'll be the first to admit it took a while to actually experience the hot air ballooning - but what an experience it was. Gavin our pilot was absolutely fantastic - friendly, approachable, clearly very skilled and experienced and looked after us all throughout.

Ballooning needs a perfect weather day, and unfortunately in the UK they are rare! Our ride last night was following 5 cancellations due to weather - in no case can this be attributed to Adventure Balloons. Many folks review negatively owing to falling fowl of the "must book 5 times in a year (and be subsequently cancelled due to weather) to gain a free 3 months extension, but this information is clear in their website text.
The team, the experience of floating 1500ft above the ground with no sound apart from people shouting Hello from below you, and the thrill of it all are worth the wait I can assure you.

This was a birthday present from family earlier this year. After reading some of the negative reviews I was unsure whether i would actually get to fly before my voucher ran out. Wow, we flew today, the 2nd time of booking. It was absolutely amazing, stunning views. The balloon just glided across the skies with the beautiful sunshine following us. Totally amazing. I even enjoyed helping to roll up the balloon at the end before having a glass of champagne. Loved every minute of it. Thank you Rav, excellent flight and landing.

I got this as a b'day present in May, and booked our flight over 2 months later. I was a bit apprehensive after our first flight was cancelled after seeing some reviews online (and realising the ballooning season ends in October). However, we easily got to re-arrange it and were delighted go on our 2nd flight booking (for less than 2 weeks later) with no problem in September. As it is understandably very weather dependent, if you have been given a voucher (as I had), it's best to get a date in asap to give enough time to re-arrange.
We went in early morning, the views were absolutely beautiful and it was peaceful. We really enjoyed our balloon flight, our pilot Kim was friendly with a good sense of humor. We got to have champagne afterwards as well.

Hot Air Ballooning... Finally!
After 22 attempts I can honestly say it was worth it! It truly is an amazing experience. Well worth the wait! Would go again at the drop of a hat if weather wasn't so unpredictable! A real 'must do' and one for the bucket list not to be missed. Great experience, our pilot Kim very informative, funny and jovial, great morning out. We had a lovely flight today from West Meon with Kim who was great fun. We enjoyed getting involved in the whole experience and would certainly recommend to anyone.

Magical flight, Richard (piloting) and Ian (collecting) were great, and even landed next to a 747 on Dunsfold airfield in the sunset. Well worth the wait!

Had a wonderful time, very organised, professional staff. Our balloon pilot was really knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend to everybody.
