A perfect village pub within perfect strolling distance of Lower Mill Estate. Brilliant beers everytime, enjoyed in a well-maintained outdoor seating area. Friendly staff and smily locals! Highly recommend. Will return for a pizza later this week!

Tried this pub for a random Sunday lunch. It was pleasantly peaceful, but busy enough to not make you feel like the only customer. It had great food and very efficient service. A definite gem for the area with some nice walks through fields just around the corner

Kindly kept the kitchen open till 2.30pm for us to get some lunch, after we phoned ahead to say we were delayed on our walk along the Thames Path. Food was just what we wanted - freshly made sandwiches, smoked salmon with dill in one, BLT with delicious back bacon just cooked in the other, plus side salad and some chips. Friendly owner and staff, very welcoming. Attractive pub in this pretty village.

I can't say much about the food as i didn't eat. I stopped in with my son and my Friend to have a drink after a long day cycling. The staff were great, they even had the euros in the garden which was brilliant.

A short detour from the Thames Path. Sunday roast mid afternoon was delicious. Specials available too. Nice wood burner and large garden area outside. Good range on tap. Friendly and welcoming staff.

What a lovely local pub!! I highly recommend this beautiful pub snuggled in the countryside. The owners and staff were so welcoming and friendly. They were knowledgeable about gluten free and we had a delicious meal. There was even a gluten free home made sticky toffee pudding. So exciting to have a choice for once. There was a gorgeous wood burner which kept us lovely and warm throughout.

We had an amazing meal here on Christmas eve. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the pub had a lovely atmosphere to it. Best of all was the food - we had hake, venison and a burger on our table and all were delicious and cooked with care and attention. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing food, made onion rings even though they weren't on the menu and very friendly staff! Delightful pub in a picturesque cotswold village. I would highly recommend!

Lovely pub, made space for our table of 7 for Sunday dinner. Lovely service, staff were friendly and quick to take our orders. When food was served it was no trouble when we asked for more gravy and cauliflower cheese (which was delicious). Would definitely recommend. 🥰

Like to visit this pub at the weekend on our horse drawn carriage. We enjoy a pint and Charlie Bucket (@ charliebucket74) enjoys a sugar free lemonade.
