Farnham Castle Keep

What a fantastic castle and exhibition room! And all absolutely free! Wonderful ruins of a historically famous castle, beautifully preserved. Very informative with information dotted around. The exhibition centre is exceptional and well worth visiting. Me and the kids loved this and will return on a Wednesday for the guided tour of the Bishops rooms. Easy 5 stars.

Fantastic castle with interesting information boards. Great views from the keep and walls ofcthe surrounding area. The adjacent park is a beautiful walk.

Very impressive castle, remarkably intact, with a great view and a dauntingly deep well in the middle.
Lots to learn, with various information boards around the castle as well as a separate building which has plenty of history recorded.
Completely free as well, so well worth a visit if you're in the area.

An interesting keep with accompanying exhibit. Only the keep remains, which offers a decent view of part of the town.

It's free, so you can't complain at the price, but it's also well worth a visit. Very interesting to see the way it was built, not your traditional castle build. Farnham is a lovely little town to wander around in after aswell

Lovely well kept place to visit, free entry and lots of parking space. You will probably only spend an hour or so here looking around but it's still worth a trip. There is a park with a great playground nearby if you want to have a picnic or a linger visit

900 years of history at an old English ruin. The site is well kept and the gardens surrounding it are spectacular. The free exhibition hall is worth visiting as lays out the history.

It's amazing place✨

Visited here today for a wedding. The wedding was amazing and the happy couple were great, but the venue, Farnham castle, was amazing. The building and rooms as well as the staff and service were second to none. As a wedding venue I highly recommend anybody to use this facility.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to visit the keep, so I can't tell you about that, however from what we did see, I will be going back.

Whilst not somewhere for a day trip; if you are passing, it is definitely worth looking in to visit the remaining castle. There is a small museum on site that details the rich history of the castle and the part it played in England's past. There are also good views of the town and surrounding areas from the viewing platform.

We came to the castle for a wedding. The castle was beautifully decorated and the service was great. By far offering the best wedding food I've had so far. Great service as well.

Another Castle who is improved to have guests for a great time full of history. The conservation is amazing with museum including. The views are amazing with the village at walking distance to enjoy the culture of the area. Restaurants and souvenir shops to take a memory from such amazing place

A brief yet rewarding visit to a castle with free entry.

A special landmark where my mom meet my dad around 1940. He was a Canadian soldier stationed overseas. My mother was sitting on a bench with a friend. He asked her to show him around the castle. The rest is history!!!
