Laxtons Pharmacy & Travel Clinic (Incorporating Elgon Chemist, Broxbourne )

I visited Laxtons with my daughters today to get vaccinations for an overseas trip. I telephoned prior to visiting and the Dr was more than happy to speak to me first. Getting an appointment was no trouble at such short notice. The Dr who administered the vaccines was extremely friendly and professional. He gave me lots of advise and provided reassurance to my apprehensive children. I would recommend this Pharmacy to anyone looking to get vaccinated, even just to get advise.

Attended for a travel clinic. The pharmacist Viral was great. He explained everything clearly and helped put us at ease. It's made us much more confident for our upcoming trip. Very easy to book a time that suited us online.

Great pharmacy had all of my medication ready (unlike another pharmacy in Hoddesdon who always had to order the same item every time when I collected repeat represcriptions) which always neant two trips there. Decided to change to Laxtons and I'm so glad I did.
Got my covid booster and flu jab the same time I went to collect my first prescription from them as well. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Popped in there for emergency medication a while ago and the pharmacist couldn’t have been more friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble at all and instantly made me feel at ease. Great range of services, good stock, popped back there today for my regular medication as decided to change pharmacies from my old one, as such a sharp contrast in staff attitude, services, professionalism and courtesy.
They were very busy today when I picked my prescription up, but again, polite, friendly and proffessional, knowledgeable and courteous.
I had my blood pressure checked whilst there, and although busy, I had to wait a minimum of time and they read it correctly which put my mind at ease, after someone else at the previuos pharmacy had read both arms and they were different!
What a fabulous service and a gem, such a pleasure and relief for me to find somewhere friendly too and positive in attitude and plenty of staff available too.

Excellent services for travel vaccination. Veral was amazing to my whole family very knowledgeable pharmacist who explained in detail what was required prior travelling. Hats off to the staff so welcoming. Thank you and God bless🥰

The owner of the pharmacy couldn’t have been more helpful. My son needed vaccinations for a school trip to Uganda, we talked through options, worked out a timetable, an important issue dealt with easily. It was a busy day but at no point did he rush us. So pleased to have found this travel clinic!

My partner and I drove over an hour to come here as we had a spontaneous trip planned and this was one of the few places with vaccines available last minute. We had a consultation with Dr Patel, and he was so helpful and a lovely person to talk to. He didn't try and sell everything that on paper we would've needed, we were on a budget so he just recommended the most important ones and was very open and honest. We appreciated this so much that we came back here again when we could've gone to one closer and we bought the remainder of what we needed for our travels. Dr Patel, thank you for your excellent customer service and friendly, honest and very helpful advice. We would definitely recommend here for your travel vaccines. Thanks again!

On Xmas Eve, the pharmacists here helped me as much as possible to get emergency medication. A lady let us use her phone for maps + the fella spoke on the phone for us. They are angels + very much appreciate their efforts today. Thank you ever so much. Love + light ☯☯☯

Very impressed with how efficient, knowledgeable, professional, helpful and friendly the staff are at Laxton's. Have had issues getting prescribed medication for my mum elsewhere with conversations leading nowhere and going round in circles - not the case at all with Laxton's. They understood the issues and dealt with them immediately meaning mum had her necessary tablets. Can't thank you enough as I felt I was letting mum down. Am more than happy to come that bit further to you - thanks again.

I would go out of my way to use this pharmacy. They really do go above and beyond for the benefit of their customers.

These guys were brilliant. Each member of our family had ten injections over four weeks and the kindness of the pharmacist really helped! Our kids aged 3 and 6 got lollipops and we all got a well-organised, anxiety-reducing service at times that suited us. We were even given the option of calling to let them know we were on our way so that the vaccines were prepped and ready for us as soon as we arrived. This really helped the calmness levels of the kids who also loved asking the pharmacist maths questions! Can't recommend them highly enough.

I've been today for covid booster and flu jab, the pharmacy is well organised with waiting area, the staff is nice and efficient, in 5min I had both vaccines, pleasant experience except the needles 😁

Took my elderly parents for their covid booster vaccinations. Excellent service, pharmacist even came out to the car to give the vaccinations to save me using the wheelchair. Could not have been more helpful.

Arrived for my covid booster jab and was greeted by a kind young lady who directed me to the waiting are. Clean shop, well organised and seemingly staffed / run by nice people.
