B&Q Wellingborough

Nice large b and q.
Always seems to be parking outside as it's on a retail park, although weekends can be busy.
Helpful staff, plenty of stock.
Small outdoor plant area, but this is made up by the inside area being spacious.
Toilets available at the back by the bathroom selection, but these arnt always available and often have a CLOSED sign on them.

Got everything I needed to do a full makeover of the front room, flooring, skirting boards, and personalised paint, all this with helpful friendly staff.

Very neat and tidy store with very helpful staff, everything is up to date and well stocked

Excellent friendly staff willing to help. Easy store layout with isle numbers. Easy excess to the store for prams & wheelchairs.

Been several times and found what was needed even if we had to ask the friendly staff where it was in store, it did not seem too much trouble for them to show us where the items were. Many thanks to the helpful staff, no doubt will call again

A large store carrying everything you would expect from a B&Q. The shelves were well stocked, I had to ask a member of staff where the doorbells would be, the employee was very helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are average, range of goods was vast, nice and easy to manoeuvre around the store, it’s what you’d hope to expect from a B&Q with a little more choice thrown in.

He staff in this shop are always happy to help , even when they are short staffed . Makes it a great place to shop.

Very good size store, generally well stocked at all times. Quick service too and better since the self-service tills have been removed. Good plant selection, however the indoor pot selection is lacking.

Great diy shop.. huge shop..I do love to go here to be honest even to just look around.

Myself and my husband visited your store today. We asked April a couple of prices of things and would like to say how helpful she was. We then found an outdoor garden storage box but there were not any on the shop floor. April new instantly that one had been delivered and it was out in the warehouse. Whilst waiting we had a general chat and I thought how engaging she was , soon another member of staff joined to make sure that we were being helped ( vinay I think sorry if misspelt )and again to our surprise had a nice conversation.normally when asking questions and needing help most staff in other retailers are not bothered Having waited for a few minutes Jenna arrived carrying our new purchase which I can say is amazing quality. Having not being helped the way we had we would probably never have brought anything from this store. So I would like to thank all 3 staff members for their help today and would like to mention that they are a massive credit to your company. Well done B and Q : D

Great shop, friendly staff member, found all I wanted and was able to get my wood piece cut to size. I have received good advice from staff, got better product than I would have acquired otherwise and even saved money. Nice.

Had everything we needed in store.We was greeted by a smile by the young lady on the checkout. She was friendly & pleasant.

Lovely B& Q. Lovely indoor plants and outdoor plants. Tiles are a very competitive price. Look lovely in my kitchen. Staff are always exceptionally polite especially Maria. Easy to park. Easy to get around. Would thoroughly recommend

Being a self employed tradesmen I use b&q alot they have a great variety of products and the staff can be helpful this is one of the better stores I have been to and haven't had any issues with anyone in store.

Their prices are competitive and always have a good range of stock, staff are incredibly friendly and helpful when asked.

There valspar paint range is phenomenal and the staff that work in that department are very knowledgeable on the products and will always give you There opinion on the best choice of paint for your needs.

I needed wood cutting which a colleague named Trevor was more than helpful, once I had it cut to how I requested it I could not quite fit it in the car so went back into store to see if it could be cut again and they called Trevor and was more than happy to help, nothing was too much trouble, he even helped me carry it back out of the store was very professional, helpful and need to be told this

Maria served us at the till and was more than helpful. We ended up buying an air fryer even though it wasn’t the one we went for. Excellent service and more than expected nowadays.

Large store, my regular go-to for DIY. A bit more expensive than my Wickes but has a very good range and the items I wanted seemed to be in stock for a change! I like their huge valspar paint dept for colour choice

I know that this type of store are copy paste the country over, but I feel that this store is one of the better ones. Store is laid out logically and items are easy to find. Checkout is quick and they opened new lanes when it was busy.

I was so pleased to see how great the staff was. They had it so right with the covid. Hand gel by a member of staff going in. All the staff wearing masks properly, and at the till she applied gel to her hands and cleaned the side and the card machine after every customer. Got loads of good clearance on at the moment aswell.
