Absolutely fantastic place, I am super glad I drove 50 mins from home here in Cambs to explore with my sons. Genuinely would move to this part of the world, just to come here with them!!

Clean and tidy open spaces, lots to do. 10/10

This is such a beautiful place to go walking in the woods with lovely paths, me and my husband love coming here with our children and our dog. It's very special, definitely recommend coming here, there is also a playground, take away cafe, adventure climbing near the parking by the entrance too.

Irchester Country Park is a fantastic place to explore with children, adults or just pets. There are so many routes that even now after loads of visits in the past I am still surprised by the quirky off trail adventures we go on. The main trail has some brilliant climbing frames too and there is a bit of history for curious minds and a fun bridge near the quarry. It does get boggy in the lower areas of ground, so do take wellingtons or old faithfuls and a towel for any dogs, but it is always super fun. They've updated the Café hut a few years ago now, it's always full of goodies and has a good opening times plus the ice cream is super creamy! 👌

The park is fantastic, is very big and is gated with 2 entrances so little ones are safe away from the cars. With the park, there is also the tree assault course, I've not done that, but it certainly looks fun!! You do need to pay for parking at both the top and bottom car park (and overspills in the summer), but it's reasonable for what is available to do!

Lovely visit. Took the dog and walked through the trees. So pretty. Had a burger at the cafe which could rival any I have had anywhere. Had a sausage for the dog and a doggy ice cream. Overall a great visit

Found off of the main road, it has a car park.
It costs £3.20 for up to 4 hours.
£5.20 up to 8 hours,
£7.20 up to 12 hours.
Blue badge holders still have to pay.
If you drive down the road and past the gate into the field area, be aware the gates are locked at 7pm.
You can pay with cash or card.
There are path ways all around the park and it can be averagely walked around in about an hour if you walk round the edges.
There's a few viewing points over the quarry.
There's a " jungle Parc " area where children can climb through the trees as a purchased activity.
There's a cafe, with toilets, ice creams and a few benches.
Children's play area with quite a few climbing frames .
Just a 5 minute walk away is a small railway museum.
There's a large open green area too to relax in.
The paths are manageable but rocky, so ok for larger wheeled pushchairs..
Dogs allowed and can be off lead if under control.
Great for families!!

A nice place but can very busy at the weekends.

I really recommend you to visit this area, today the weather was lovely and it contributed to enhance the beauty of this place.
The forest is accesible through the car parks, the first close to the entrance with the car park pay and display machine and the second one closer to the park main activities.
Near the second car park you'll find a picnic area with a few tables and free acces toilets for visitors. There's a play area for kids with plenty of activities, and an adventure course for the adventurous and fearless to heights.
If you want to stroll there are several trails around the park, none of them requires a high level of fitness, they are perfect for a hike, running of enjoying your bike.
The park is well maintained and clean, please keep it that way.
It has been a nice day out in a beautiful place.

Fun for all ages. So much work has gone on to make the place an adventure for children and a picnic or cafe for older folk. The x46 bus stops outside the entrance. We have loved the place for 40 years .Dog friendly and special events too.

I've always had a soft spot for Irchester country park as my sisters and I spent many happy hours there as children then as I grew up I went back with friends over the years and now love to take my son there. My husband and I took my son over on this occasion to fly his drone but unfortunately the wind was too high so we had to abandon that. We still had a nice sit on the grass in the sunshine though which was lovely

Absolutely loved it here, the park was spotless and loved the different trails you could walk. Was so lovely to find different climbing frames and slides hidden at different parts of the trail.

Loved bird watching on our trail. Perfect for little ones. Parking could accommodate those who want to visit for shorter period than 4 hours but that will take 10 years to be implemented or even be considered.

DON'T JUDGE THE PICTURES. Taken by 5 YO.

Excellent country park for walking and cycling. Large number of trails lead off the main path. Parking is charged at £3.20 for 4 hours. There is an eatery next to the kids play park and treetop centre that serves hotdogs, burgers, lattes etc. Dogs are well catered for, dog bowls by the cafe and the cafe serves dog treats.
