ibis Wellingborough

We stayed here two years ago for two nights and had a quiet restful night with no problems. Went to book this year and after reading the reviews regarding noise and cold showers, we were unsure whether to stay again. We booked for two nights. Staff were very welcoming. We stayed on the 1st floor this time round room 124. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Had two really good nights sleep. Extra pillow in room if required. No bath but shower lovely and it was hot. We found no problems and will be staying again next year for our annual Xmas meet up with friends. Thanks to the hard working staff for making our stay perfect.

A nice close but not too far hotel from Santa Pod Raceway.

I thought it was very reasonable for the price paid. It had a decent shower, that got plenty hot for my liking, and the bed was plenty comfy as well.

If I was being extremely picky, they are on the smaller side if 2 of you are in the same room. But it is rather cosy!

Helpful & friendly staff, specially lovely Danika that helped us with language issues (spanish) and explained all that we need! Cheers for her.
Clean rooms, comfortable bed, correct meals, and some games & relax on hotel hall. Silence rooms. See you soon, on the next trip to uk!

Enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Only reason for giving 3 stars for location is because we don't drive so it was difficult to get anywhere. Would recommend this hotel for anybody visiting the area.

Great location for Santa Pod and we stay here every year. Had a problem with the parking and got a ticket. It’s was quickly sorted out so not a problem. I would just say check the amount of nights in the top right corner of the screen when putting in car registration. Very helpful staff and a fantastic stay. Thanks

Good service. Clean room and friendly staff on check in. I have used this hotel for a few weeks now have never had any issues with checking in and the room. There is also quite a few decent restaurants in the vicinity.

Very welcoming staff, the room had all you need, very clean, Comfy bed and spotless bathroom. The Accor group have a brand call Planet 1, in particular a shower gel they put in the bathroom. We loved it, felt revitalized and fresh, even asked about it because the fragrance was so nice. The breakfast was really very good. I would stay at the Wellingborough Ibis again.

This 2 star hotel is excellent.
The staff are lovely and go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are serviced every day unlike a four star which we stayed in recently and which of course used Covid as an excuse.
The Ibis is spotlessly clean and has excellent wifi. Recommend.

Rooms are clean and well made up. Staff are very friendly and supportive. Room gets cleaned everyday and Parking is free.
Reasonably priced and next to McDonald's and pub/restaurant which are both less than 2 mins walk away. Hotel provides a menu of food and desert

This has to be one of the best hotels I've stayed in.staff are very polite and helpful room was perfect bed was to die for and the breakfast was 100%

Spent this evening here and ordered my meal, was greeted by 'Alina' an Angel from the kitchen, she prepared, cooked and presented my food with elegance.
The food looked as beautiful as she did. I can only imagine her lips would taste as good as the food did.
She was an absolute delight and made my meal experience unforgetable.
Give this lady a pay rise... wonderful experience.

It is situated in convenient location. McDonalds next door, Tesco’s 10 mins drive! The hotel itself can get crowded at night downstairs with a very simple bar some sofas to sit on a pool table and a small restaurant!

The room itself does the job is properly maintained in cleanness despite the facilities has some age!

Can’t complained at all for a short stay does the job fits the bills!

Hidden gem. We booked 3 rooms as a family and everyone of the rooms were immaculate. Staff at reception were exceptional and good knowledge of what our requirements were as we had a disabled member of the family with us. We will all definetly be visiting the area again soon and will be back to this ibis first rate establishment.

its the first time myself and son have used the ibis Wellingborough. the staff were just fine attended to promptly swipe keys given and within not even 5 minutes i was in a nice very clean tidy room and for the price your not going to do better stayed for three days. more than happy.
gladly stay again anytime.

Excellent service great staff was very friendly only one thing cheese and ham on Break was poor . Needed much better . But other wise loved the stay rooms was very clean beds excellent very good two nights stay .

Staff were amazing. Wonderfully clean & white throughout. Great breakfast. Definitely rated five star I will be visiting there regularly in the future. The Hind hotel needs to learn some lessons from ibis.

A wonderful stay which is well connected and a midpoint between Northampton and Kettering.Staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet is available with Continental as well as English one. For English one it is £8.95 for one person. The room have toilet as well as shower room with body wash and conditioner. Kettle is available in rooms with tea and coffe making facilities.

Iron and ironing board available from reception upon request. There are enough parking space available and it is free. There is a Mc Donalds in the same premises which open at 6am till 12 am.

Stayed here when going to Atomic festival at sywell aerodrome. Easy access to get back and forth and friendly and efficient staff who were very helpful. Will definitely consider staying here again if I need to stay in the area. Rooms were clean and nice enough to sleep in although we weren't in our room for most of the time.
