Best pub in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, great atmosphere, friendly staff and nice beer what more could you want, oh yes good juke box as well 👍

Every pint I've had has been good been going a few months after working in the area some nice food / snacks very welcoming great for music and open 🎤 night

I just popped in for a pint one evening, I went in because I could see from outside that they served Theikstones best bitter.
Pint was spot on.
There is a good selection of beers and spirits. I like dark rum and I could see they stocked three very good ones.
The pub inside is a temple to Newcadtle United, I imaging you could have a great afternoon if Newcastle were playing.
I will return in the near future.

A friendly pub,with fantastic staff. I visited it on Sunday Evening 28th August 2022.the locals made me very welcome.The Barmaid even laughed at my joke about true Scotsmen not putting water or ice in their whisky.
And the man in charge who called " last orders please " had been the perfect host all evening.
I spoke to him in the street next morning, and he asked me if I had enjoyed my visit to The Cresswell Arms.
Which I had .....very much. I will definitely visit again, when I'm in Newbiggin-by the sea

Friendly pub and good service

Great pub very welcoming, dogs and all.. bar staff friendly as we're customers. we were staying in local caravan site

Currently with restrictions , you can't drink inside, but it is a very nice clean and tidy pub and seems all ready for when restrictions are lifted. In the meantime,if the weather is sunny,sitting outside and having a drink is great as the area is quite busy with people heading for the beach.The staff there are very nice.I highly recommend it.

Lovely pub with very friendly and helpful staff. No hesitation in putting on the rugby league on tv for us, so we could watch our beloved Castleford tigers despite clashing with the euros and us being 1st time visitors from out of town. MANY THANKS. 👍🏉🐅

We came as a large group of 11, whilst on a weekend Caravan Break at Sandy Bay Holiday Park, and duly proceeded to have an absolutely excellent Saturday afternoon and evening in the Creswell Arms.

We effectively had the 'Sitting Room' area with the Pool Table, pretty much all to ourselves, though the rest of the bar and rooms were quite busy with customers.

The staff were great, and couldn't do enough to help us. The Pool Table was free for the day, and there was a good range of hot snacks and bar food available to keep the hunger side of our day all sorted too.

With my childhood years seeing my weekends and summer holidays spent at Church Point Caravan Park just next door (and all the Dads/Uncles doing many a pub crawl, starting off at the Creswell Arms), it's perhaps a bit strange to say it's taken me 48 years to finally get to the Creswell Arms myself, but now that I have, I can honestly say I wish I'd managed it sooner.

I will certainly be back when the opportunity affords it!

A great afternoon and evening, spent in great company, but with the added final essential ingredient of a great bar and great atmosphere (and great staff), included too.

I readily recommend you check the Creswell Arms out if you ever find yourself in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea with any time to spare!

Nice friendly little place welcoming anyone for hot or cold sandwiches, scones and also allows dogs. Have a games room next door to bar likely for darts, pool/snooker etc 😊👍🍽🍻☕

Everything you want from a pub by the sea really, friendly locals inside, nice bar staff, a good pool table and a large TV. Food wasn't overpriced and neither were the drinks. Will definitely go back soon.
