We stay here because of location and price. You need to work out the system, pay up front in case something goes wrong. It's kinda grand but falls on its face for service. I think it's a growing trend in hospitality accommodation these days. It serves it's purpose but absolutely nothing more.

Amazing stay at Rectory Farm, a lovely converted property with lots of character. The self-check-in works really well and very easy to do. The place is spotlessly clean and very comfortable with high quality furnishings. The attention to detail in every respect is superb. Location was great with the park & ride service just a few minutes away which takes you into Cambridge town centre. Breakfast at the local garden centre, again just a few minutes drive away, was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

I've stayed here twice now and have been so pleased with my stay on both occasions! The staff are always very amenable and so happy to help, and the rooms have always been very clean and comfy. Perfect! I'll definitely be back!

Perfect place to relax and sleep well after exploring Cambridge. Across the road from Madingley park and ride and surrounded by fields.
I was in an ensuite annexe room, TV and well stocked tea tray. Self check in as keys are left for your room. If you need a cooked breakfast or other meals there are restaurant recommendations in your room.
Perfect relaxed overnight stay just what I needed. Will definitely stay again when visiting Cambridge.

I spent four nights in a wonderful and quiet villa, just close to the Madingley rise site. It was the first time, and I liked a lot. I suggest you Rectory Farm for your stay in Cambridge!

Absolutely stunning buildings in quiet area.

When you arrive, there is plenty of parking for all the guests. The check-in is based on envelopes- you will find them next the entrance of the main building. Each envelope has a name on it, so you'll find yourself and inside is a key, map and information about your stay. I love that it gives you the freedom to arrive at any time and you're not restricted by reception opening times. The only thing is, what if someone steals your envelope/ can't find your envelope? I did not see any employees around in case of emergency.

The room was in beautiful antique style which I love (28yo) and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I have never ever had a better mattress in my life. There was also a small fridge but with the sign "Not for guests use." Bathroom was spacious, love the lights under shower so if you need to use a loo at night it doesn't blind you.

The place is little busy - I guess people stay over on the way to airport- so I had to close the windows as people kept waking me up. However, after closing the window I didn't hear anything and slept great.

You can walk from the hotel to Park and Ride, where you can take a bus to the city centre. It's maybe 10 min walk.

This place is definitely one of my favourites and we will come back again.

PS: there is a coffee machine in communal area, not very good. Take your own coffee if you don't like instant coffee provided in the bedrooms.

I had a wonderful stay. I am very happy with the place and I would like to be able to go again for a few more days in the future.

It is a quiet place surrounded by nature.

The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and fully equipped. It also has parking included.

Enjoyed our stay. We found it interesting how efficient the self service check in and check out is. Really very very comfortable bed and we had a good night's sleep. Clean fresh bedding. Quiet surroundings. Glorious high powered shower in the morning. Tiny bit disappointed there was no complimentary shampoo and shower gel. But we made do with the small bar of soap.
Only downfall for us as we had no car it was a bit of a walk to the park and ride to get the bus.... and buses end of day is around 7pm. Taxi into Cambridge was a reasonable £12

Quaint, delightful chalet on a farm, out in the middle of the countryside (but located close enough to Cambridge to be practical).

Great location, clean, tidy rooms, contactless check in and check out, complete with a reasonably priced 24 hour vending machine situation. Couldn't have asked for more, to be honest.

Stayed at Rectory Farm over the weekend. Beautiful place, very reasonably priced, glad I chose this over Premier Inn. Enjoyed my stay!

Great self check in as I arrived late, room is very cute and clean. The bed was huge, although the pillows weren't great and the bed was kind of hollow and worn out, but for one night it was perfect.
Location works if you have a car, otherwise probably wouldn't recommend.

Brilliant place to stay and location to Cambridge and two great National Trust houses. From Rectory Farm drive a few minutes to the park and ride, leave car and get bus into Cambridge, perfect.

Lovely hotel, feels like staying at your nan’s house. Very homely, antique furniture and decor. Large, comfortable and luxurious beds. Everything extremely clean. Amazing shower.

It's a place to stay. Very nicely appointed but no food, just coffee and tea in room.

The service was good. The first access was a little bit complicated since they applied a seemingly Covid-prevention measure. Therefore, I needed to call the front officer first. Then he gave me the key. They should've installed a password-protected safe box for the keys instead. The room was small but is still okay. It's clean. The location is next to the park and ride. It's also convenient to drive an EV for this hotel because the car can be charged in the P&R. However, this info was not acknowledged by the hotel service, which is unfortunate.

Quite easily the most comfortable and best value for money hotel in the Cambridge area. Located just off the M11 and very close to a park and ride, I have called Rectory Farm home once a week for the past 5 months as I relocated to the area for work. Having experienced a number of other Cambridge hotels prior to finding Rectory Farm, I can honestly say I was blown away by the quality and service available and cannot thank the team enough for looking after me. I will remember my time with you fondly!

Nice place, clean and tidy, good price. Park and ride into Cambridge is nearby, £3.50 return. Later buses out of town stop on maddingley Road. Would use this hotel again.

When we arrived the lady on reception was very friendly and informative of the local area. She recommended place to go to eat and even offered us discount. The room was fantastic. The right size, extremely clean. The area was very quiet. We went on lovely walks on sight. I have stayed at 5 star hotels before, and this hotel by far is one of the best. Would recommend this to anyone that just wants peace and quiet and relaxing stay.
