West Café

This cafe was superb, the food was absolutely fantastic. It was a hard choice between sweet and savoury but in the end savoury won and the vegan pasty was more than delicious. Absolutely great lunch.

Decent coffee and lots of space to take a meeting and work as needed.

The staff are always friendly and great for a quick chat when they aren't too busy. The coffee here is pretty good and comes in all the forms you would usually expect, including iced coffee which is awesome. Yes it gets busy at lunch time but that is because it is so popular. There is always a massive selection of fresh sandwiches and a different hot meal (veggie option as well). The actual cafe is a lovely, bright and airy space with plenty of plug sockets to work with a laptop

Great place, very pretty, good food

Nice location with good views and selection of drinks and food. Has a fresh menu every day and staple food options such as sandwiches and jacket potatoes. Has a selection of cold drinks and snacks like yoghurts or chocolate bars. Staff are quite friendly and they have a loyalty card offer on your 12th drink. Nice place to meet with friends or take a break from work.

Vibrant bustling atmosphere, great on the go food, lovely outdoor seating area with lake views. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good coffee. Café is equipped in a way that allows meeting and study whilst being family friendly

It's wonderful place for lunch. The coffee is splendid and environment to sit on stream following below sitting of cafe is fantastic. This is nice place to have a gupshup (chitchat) with friends over different topics.

Open for business, good social distancing and mask wearing continuing. Good range of light snacks and hot and cold drinks. Quick friendly service. Loos on site too.

So light and airy! a great workspace with amazing lunch options and snacks. usual Cambridge cafe prices. staff are v friendly.

Good value, nice food, free WiFi. Some of the daily specials are a bit weird but avoid them and you are fine

Upside: Great building; great view; great chairs; great being left alone; great windows; great space for thinking.

Downside: nowhere to hang your washing.

Great vegetarian options! I’m a meat eater but still choose the veggie option over the meat when I visit here most times.
