Talwrn Bach Farmhouse & Cottages

Booked this very late and for the price I paid it was exceptional. It was very clean, well maintained and had almost everything you could want including 2 sitting, a well appointed kitchen and netflix. It is in an excellent location being a short walk from a lovely village along a river (with an excellent pubs) ,and a short drive from loads of nice beaches, mountains and towns. I also did some excellent runs to waterfalls and into the snowdonia national park directly from the house and you could also walk to shell island. As a final comment the beds were mega comfy so slept like a baby all week!

We loved our stay in 'the Stable' cottage. Very comfortable and light, plenty of room, and space outside to sit and enjoy meals together (it helped that we has lovely weather while we were staying). The surrounding area is beautiful with access to beaches a short drive away. We loved the trainline pairing close by - not very frequent but fun to watch. I'm hoping we can return to make use of the two cottages and farmhouse with all the family once circumstances allow!
The owner/housekeeper were very helpful and friendly, lots of COVID precautions in place which was reassuring.

We stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights as port of a team participating in the IMechE UAS Challenge 2017 in the nearby airfield. The house was perfect for the lot of us. Rooms were comfy with a well-equipped kitchen.
It wasn't a long walk to our destination, the nearest pub, beach and waterfall.
Our dear host even extended our stay till the evening for our last day as we were boarding a later train.
Absolutely fantastic!

Fantastic holiday home. Ideal location for Harlech, Barmouth and Shell Island. Train station on your door step. Great facilities. Owners have adapted to Covid 19 situation brilliantly, felt safe in accommodation.

A brilliant place to spend a week - the house is perfectly equipped and the area stunningly beautiful with lots to do, and great places to eat nearby.

Cute cosy cottage in great location with very short drives to the beach, beds aren’t the comfiest, seems decently clean and a good place to stay
